My rear gas tank is stuck on full?
I have a 92 Ford f250 4x4 xlt and I recently filled my rear tank all the way and now it hasn't been stuck past the full mark
Keep track of your mileage, so you know when you should probably fill up.
Bad fuel sending unit, they have a gauge that goes in the top of the tank that measures the amount of fuel in it, over the years those can stop functioning properly and stick in certain places. You can either drop the gas tank and replace it. Pull the bed and replace it, or… Deal with it lol
- Gas gauge issues 2001 ford ranger 2wd manual 3.0 engine. 12 gallon gas tank? The gas gauge fluctuates between 3/8 and 7/8 somewhat correlating to the amount of gas in my tank but it isn't accurate. What can i do to try and fix this problem? - Ford F 450, 1997, gas gauge works, but switch won't go the second rear tank? I replaced the switch same thing, only reads front tank and rear tank stays full. I had the solenoid replaced on the frame 15 months ago, could that be bad again, that is over $400? I have two gas tanks, front and rear. Switch won't switch to rear tank? Reads front tank only, even when switched to rear tank. I replaced the switch, cost $62. The rear tank is full, Edith. It is full because I can't access the fuel.
- Will I cause any damage if I use my manual fuel cutoff/shutdown as a throttle while I investigate why my actual throttle is stuck at full Had my cav rotary injection pump fixed on a diesel Ford tractor. The throttle is not operating correctly (stays at full throttle), is it going to hurt anything to use my manual fuel cutoff as a throttle while I investigate the issue.
- Does anyone else notice when you fill the car at shell the tank isn't as full as say sainsbury? I only get 310 range on computer there against 350 with tesco. Or is it this just happens to me. Ford fiesta.
