How to wire automatic choke on 1986 ford f250?
I have a 1986 ford f250 with new carb but need to know if the choke needs to be connected to the battery in some way (engine size460)
I'm not sure about that new but in the 70's the Ford chokes usually connected to a special terminal on the back of the alternator. Seems like if you put a volt meter on it you got like 7 volts.
- 1986 ford ranger dashboard warning lights? I have a 1986 ford ranger 4 cylinder and on the instrument cluster i can see all the light bulbs for the warning lights. The cover that actually tells you what each light is has been missing since i bought the truck used. If anyone can tell me the order of the warning lights so i can wright it down and make a chart so i know what it is when it lights up.
- I have a 1986 ford with the C6 tranny on a motorhome what fluid does it take? It looks like from what I was reading that type F is what will work but then I ran across info that states its only used in c6's from the 70's. Am I ok using type F? Also this vehicle is new to me is there anyway to tell what fluid type is in it now?
- Amplifier set up in car, remote wire to ignition wire? Can I put red ignition wire from car to red ignition on harness from radio together AND also add the remote amp wire from amp to the red(s) ignition wire's… So all 3 twisted together? Please help someone and if you don't answer but have the nerve to vote someone down on there reply get a damn life.
