I have a 1995 Taurus wagon. The rear defroster is opperated by a toggle in the dash. Recently it stopped staying on and instead just clicks back out and shuts off. It works if I hold the toggle in manually but of course I can't drive that way. Any iceas besides drilling a hole to put a pin in front of it to hold it down?

The car was jerking after being warmed up, and then I would be at a stop light. After accelerating, the car would drive normal, I'd watch the RPM's increase to almost 3 and then a hard jerk and then it kept going. Added Lucas Trans Fix and the jerking stopped but not the RPM's go past 3 and it shifts but sometimes makes a grinding noise. The Check Transmission light comes on after idling for a bit. Any idea what could be wrong?

My car is Ford Taurus 2003 SES and recently it cranks but won't start.
I got a new battery, sparks are good, all relays are working fine.
but when i check the fuel pump by listening to the sound in the fuel tank i didn't hear anything, the next thing is no fuel pressure.
Now i do not know what to do next.
is it the fuel pump or is it something else?
Same year (1998), around same amount of miles (160,000), both maintained, both are even the same color.

Explanation: I have a 2003 Ford Taurus used. The radio was not working since. I got the car about less than One year ago. Now I'm trying to fix this issue. I bought another radio with an Auxillary cord connect from Factory radio I installed it today.
Issue: I have replaced all fuses with the correct and working fuses. I've disconnected the battery and restarted the codes. (My sterio lights up, and the air controls work. However the clock does not work, the station does not, work nor audio.)
I'm thinking of taking it to autozone to use the wire readers to see if the wires are down. I don't have a manual, and I don't know which wires are for the station/Clock/Audio part.

First here are the vehicle details, 1994 Ford Taurus 3.8L, 45,000 original miles, torque converter seal was leaking six months ago so had a new torque converter put in. Ok so recently I've been getting a hard shift into second gear. Here s the weird part. It only happens from a dead stop turning left. If I make a left off of a stop sign I ll get a real bad jerk into second. It never happens when making a right though. I check the trans fluid periodically but it isn't losing any. Thoughts?
I have a 2001 ford taurus 24 valve (dual over head cam) (dohc). Cylinders 4,5,6 are misfiring (front 3 cylinders). I've replaced the coil pack, spark plug wires, spark plugs. Cleaned the egr and changed the o2 sensor (what the computer said was bad.) it said it was running rich last time i had it at autozone (2 days ago). I'm now looking at the fuel filter because on this model it has the fuel pressure regulater built into it… I don't know i just need a dorection in which to take action highly upset with this.
