So I just bought a Taurus and it has the remote start feature, my question is once I've started the vehicle, how do I make it stay on longer than ten minutes? Also, is there any way to keep the engine from shutting off once I've opened a door?

My 2001 Ford Taurus SEL s check engine came in and flashes when idling. I ran a code on it and it is a cylinder 5 Misfire P0305. I changed the spark plug, didn't work. Changed the spark plug wires, didn't work. I just changed the coil pack and it to didn't work. What else could it be? Is it time to throw in the towel and take it to a mechanic. Before I forget to mention, yes I erased the codes after each fix and it came right back on and went right back to rough idling. The code reader I used was a plain Jane one you can borrow from advanced auto.

I got an oil change yesterday on my 2010 Taurus SHO. After leaving the garage I started noticing that when I came to a stop or took off that the suspension was making a growing/popping noise. As I turn the wheel it makes the noise as the wheels turn but there's no noise during the turn. I called the garage and the guy said to give it a couple if days because it was most likely the suspension settling back into place after being on a lift. He said it was common in Fords. Is this accurate information or is something else going on that was caused from them lifting the car uo?
I have a Ford Taurus. I was driving one day and everything started losing power, headlightsd dimming, etc. I pulled over and killed the engine. It wouldn't crank back up until somebody jumped it off. It barely stayed charged long enough for me to get home. Mechanic told me the alternator was out. I replaced it. Car wouldn't start. Had my battery tested and was told it had a dead cell so I bought a brand new one. Now my car will keep turning over but still not cranking! What could it be? Could a coil pack have been damaged from the battery being set on/off the top of it so many times?
My 2002 Ford Taurus has been sitting in the cold since December 7th, 2015, and it is now January 27th, 2016. On January 15th, my Dad tried starting the car, and said that it wouldn't start. He asked if I ever had problems with starting it in the past, which I haven't. On January 24th, I tried starting the car myself and nothing happened. The car wouldn't turn over. No lights came on. And neither did the radio. The lock & unlock button also wouldn't work. He tried charging the battery twice, but nothing changed. He says it may be the starter, but could it be anything else?
My Taurus fuse box is under the hood and I want to see if the fuse is bad since my heat is ice cold!
. When the car is running and in parked its making a loud consisted rev noise. However the rpm needle thingy is not moving.
when i'm in drive the car acclerates on its own with the speed ever increasing.
i did some googling and learned that it can be the TPS sensor or the idle air intake valve, among a million other possiblities.
