Ford Ranger truck shaking when accelerating?

Added (1). I have a 99 Ford Ranger 4wd. I have started to notice that when I accelerate very slowly, it violently shakes in all ranges. If I let off the gas at any time it stops and if I accelerate fast afterward it is completely smooth and seems to shift fine.
Also If I accelerate at a normal speed from a stop it seems to run perfect. The only problem is when the acceleration is slow. No code on the dash, new plugs, electrical problem seems likely but I don't know where to start. Suggestions?

Kia sorento power steering?

The other day I was in a fender bender and damaged what appears to the power steering oil cooler line in my 2011 Kia sorento. It is an oddly bent piece of piping that connects to the power steering fluid reservoir on one end and a hose leading to the undercarriage of the car on the other. I've found a replacement piece from Kia online for about 130$, but similair cooling systems like this one http://m.oreillyauto.com/mt/www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/HDN3/1009/05146.oap?year=2011&make=Ford&model=Ranger&vi=1446677&ck=Search_power+steering_05146_1446677_489&redirectkeyword=power+steering&pt=05146&ppt=C0031
Can be found at cheaper prices in local auto parts stores. As long as I can properly fit and mount it under the hood, and the intake and outtake of the pipinf is the same size (3/8), is it okay to use a system like this either permanently or short term?

To all you mechanics out there?

I bought a 1998 ford ranger 2.5 liter with a l4 motor. The only problem is it has a blown head gasket. Would it be possible to put a 4 liter v6 out of a 1998 ranger in without having to re wire everything and get a new computer?
