What's the name of this car / truck part?
My friend has a 1989 Ford Ranger and this part needs to be replaced on his truck but he is not sure of the technical name of it. Is it the transmission crossmember? Also, we can't find a used one anywhere
Yes its the cross member and if you can't find used means they are all no good either. Will have to go to ford dealer
- Need a name for my truck? - 1 My Ford is a off white with pink camo decals. I can't think of any truck names besides "Daddy's Money" but that names already taken by a women at the local truck pulls. Any ideas? Something creative?
- My transmission has failed due to a recalled part does Ford have to replace the whole transmission or just the recalled part? I have a 2005 Ford Freestar minivan one night when I was driving home the transmission went out on it while I was on the highway. After doing some research we found that the torque converter is a recalled part on this model. If the torque converter is the reason for the transmission failure does Ford have to replace my whole transmission as well or just the torque converter?
