I have a 1997 ford ranger XLT and there's something wrong with my heater?
When I turn the heat selector it doesn't do anything. Could there be something wrong with the vacuum. My truck is a 2.3 l 4 cylinder with 8 sparkplugs. How can I fix this? Also could something be preventing the trap doors from opening when I put it to a different selection
Hot all the time? Pretty common, Broken blend door
- Heater isn't hot enough in my car, is there a way to make the heater better? I drive a 1998 Ford Taurus Wagon, the heater on it is alright but when it's 10 degrees outside it kinda sucks. Is there an actual way to make your heater hotter?
- Timing belt replacement on 1997 Ford Ranger 2.3L XLT? I'm replacing a timing belt on my ford ranger in the morning, I was curious if I have to remove the crankshaft pulley in order to time it or if I just have to line up the markings and then put the belt back on. And no suggestions to take it to a mechanic most people learn by doing themselves its an old truck so that's what I'm doing.
- I just bought a 1990 Ford Ranger and it is doing something weird? As stated in the title I bought a 1990 Ford Ranger today and it had recently gotten some parts replaced including: Fly Wheel, Starter, tires and some others. But the problem is, when I'm stop and accelerate the whole truck shakes and jiggles and I'm not exactly sure what it is? Any comments help. It's a Ford Ranger 1990 Automatic 4wd. Also, I'm not sure if this is normal on these old of cars but when on the freeway going about 65 that's red lining it.
