Every time i put a cd in it says check cd and ejects it any ideas? And nor does the aux work i press the cd/aux button but dosent show aux
So my T-Bird has been having some transmission problems since I got it. It was mostly minor, shuddering between gears and such, but the only problem worth mentioning was that the fourth gear seemed to slip. I could use the overdrive button to make it work for a while, but now it doesn't seem to work at all. I start the car, and I can move the gearshifter out of Park, but it doesn't engage in any other gear. I thought maybe it was the interlock system, but the trick with starting the car in Neutral didn't help at all. I've already checked the fuses, battery line and transmission fluid, so I don't know where else the problem could be. Any help?
I'm a 16 year old boy, making some money this summer and throughout the next year. I really want a "classic" car (1970-1985 ish); what old cars are easy and cheap to maintain compared to other cars of their era. I like a lot of cars, Volvo, BMW, Saab, Mercedes, Acura, Audi, VW, Ford, Olds, Pontiac… I LOVE the look of old Jaguars, and I always see them for sale with low miles and a low price, but I know they're terrible to own… Thanks
My buddy's ford 460 had a couple stuck valves causing this? (His mom had it checked by a mechanic or something a while back. What does this mean? We're hoping it's not a hydro-locked engine.
