What would cause my 2004 Ford E350 5.4L 8cyl to have 2,000 rpm at idle and in neutral?

The van has 113,000 miles. Plugs changed at 100,000 miles. When started the rpms are at 2,000. Occasionally they will drop 100-200 rpm for 1-2 seconds then right back to 2,000 rpm. While driving there's no problem as long as the van is in drive. Once in a great while after driving around for a while it will be normal rpm when I put it in park. But usually works its way back to 2,000 rpm. Should I try to clean the throttle body or change the tps sensor? Any help will be much appreciated.

Are honda civics usually good cars?

OK so I currently drive an '08 Honda civic and love it very much. It runs great! I've owned several cars in my life but never a Honda. I've always had Fords, Chevrolets, and one Toyota. I decided to try a Honda for once and I bought it brand new back in 2008 and now it has 72,000 miles on it. Its never had anything mechanically wrong with it (except brakes) and I've had it for 6 years. All my other cars had, had atleast one somewhat serious problem by 6 years and I've put more miles on this car in 6 years than I ever did the other cars. I just can't believe its gotten me this far with so little trouble! Is this normal for a civic or am I just lucky?

Should I ask my relative to help buy me a car?

I want a car, I'm 18 now and my parents don't exactly have the money too buy me a car. Fortunately I have a rich aunt and uncle, and they live quite wealthily with a Mercedes sl series r230, and new fords, Chevrolets, they've also owned Porsches, my uncle on top of that owns a 1966 stingray corvette. So would asking them for help with buying a car, with compensation of me making monthly payments back too them for the car be too much? I'm not too fond of asking for help, but I'm in a situation where I've got my back against the wall on this one, and I'd like some advice too see what might be a good idea?

Why does my 1989 Ford Capri start for no reason, without a key?

Why does my 1989 Ford Capri start for no reason, without a key?

Added (1). For a while it now its made a weird noise when i start her up but i just change gears or engage the lights and the noise stops. But today I put the key in and turned on the electricity to put up the windows, then pulled out the key and the car started and made this gnarly grinding sound, worse than usual. So i put the key back in and tried turning the car off but the ignition was already off and no matter what i did i couldn't turn it off until i put it in reverse and it died automatically.
