Kill switch on 2006 Ford Mustang?

Sometimes my car will randomly die. There's a hidden button that when I push it, power is restored to my car. What is the purpose of this? And does anyone have any idea as to why my car would be randomly dying? It doesn't happen often, but I would like a reason.

The button is located in a spot that makes it difficult to accidentally hit it with my foot ora anything like that.

Added (1). Yes the kill switch is by the pedals in the floor. What can I do to avoid this problem?

Can I mount any supercharger to a mustang?

I will be getting a 3.8L v6 2004 Ford Mustang soon, and I want to know if I could use a cheaper OEM supercharger and mount/custom mount it to the block. I know that if I wanted high amounts of boost I would need forged internals but I'm planning on just giving it a good 5 or 6lbs. Would I also need a special cooling system as well? I would appreciate anything.

1997 Ford Mustang sunroof?

I recently got a 1997 mustang, and it has a sunroof. The glass is broken out and I have been looking to order a replacement, but can't seem to find one. Did any mustangs come out with sunroofs, or was it custom installed? And do you know of any site i can order a replacement?

How to remove Mykey car restrictions Mustang 2016?

So I recently got a new 2016 Ford Mustang and my parents gave me the key. Thinking that I'm going to go 0 to 100 real quick something weird happened. There was a beep and on a tiny screen it says exactly,"Mykey speed limit reached!" It is set to 70 mph alright alright I can see why they don't want me going fast it's a sports car. But what really got me was that I can't even put my volume up past 14! Is there a way to take this off? Can I take my car to shop and hope they can do it or is it simpler than that? I heard i can get a new master key from the dealer but as you can see my goal is to not have the old man find out. I can also buy a new key online but how do I link it to my car? Any help?

Engine misfire Ford Mustang P0301 4.6 L V8?

So I was driving my car and half way over a bridge my engine light flashed and the oil pressure gauge was going from normal operating pressure to low pressure every time the engine light would flash. I know it's a cylinder 1 misfire, as it was doing this the power in the car was dropping dramatically and smoke came out of the passenger fire wall. I immediately turned the car off and coasted down the bridge and had it towed back home. Now as it sits the engine won't crank over it seems the starter is just hitting a brick wall. I tried to pull the harmonic balancer over to see if it was ceased without much luck, granted it could be on a compression stroke, I didn't try to hard on cranking it over by hand on the balancer. I hooked it up to my pc and got the stored codes from when it was running which came up as P0301 ( cylinder 1 misfire ) I know I should check spark and other ignition features but why would it cause the starter to stop all of the sudden? Any advice would be appreciated. I'm pretty good with working and trouble shooting cars but this has somewhat stumped me.

Added (1). It's a 2002 Mustang GT

When did Ford switch back to the Mustang 5.0?

I recently bought a 92 f150 and the seller claimed the engine was a Mustang 5.0 from the first model year they switched back to the 5.0. I have no idea when or if Ford did this, but I assumed it was in the 5th generation. The guy did say it was late 90s to early 2000s. Any help on where to find the factory casting nubers or plates would be awesome.

1996 Mustang SVT Cobra vs 2006 Mustang GT?

I found a well cared, low mileage stock 1996 Ford SVT cobra convertible, also a 1997 Cobra coupe vortec supercharged, same price.

There's also a few 05-09 Mustang GTs around too.

Both have the same power outputs, is the 4th gen cobra a significantly better performance vehicle out of the box compared to a 5th gen GT? Would upgrading shocks/pads and rotors/tires be enough for a GT to rival a Cobra?

I'm looking for something that can serve as a good all around vehicle for the next 3-4 years Daily driving duty, long distance driving etc. Then when I can afford another car My plan is to keep it as a weekend car/canyon carver.

What is a good American vehicle to make fast/build?

Looking around for a new car that would make a decent daily driver while still being a good mod platform for speed/acceleration.

Budget is $20k-$25k. I'm looking at a few Ford 6.4 Powerstrokes, Ford Mustang GT 4.6/5.0, Camaro SS 6.2, Silverado 6.6 duramax.

Any other suggestions? I'm not looking to do full on engine builds, just bolt-on mods(preferably kits).
