Why is my 2000 Ford Mustang Overheating?

I have a 2000 Ford Mustang v6 3.8L Base. I will start describing what happens when you start the car: The car shakes and you can hear kicking/popping noises from the mufflers and in the front of the engine. When you start to drive, it shakes and kicks struggling to drive for several miles. When it reaches operating temperature it seems to run normal, but then it overheats really quickly. This always happens in the city (at red lights) but it seems to run normal on the freeway. I have replaced the thermostat, radiator and radiator cap. Recently I changed the Secondary Air Injection Pump from the junk yard. This last time it overheated, it spit out liquid and there was so much pressure built up in the hoses (the pressure never goes away even after the car has been sitting for days). Also the coolant always turns a little orange. I've flushed the system before because it was deep brown.

1985 ford mustang gt a reliable and smart purchase for a teenager?

The 1985 ford mustang has been my dream car for the past 3 years! Now i'm 17, i have a job where i can actually afford a car payment, well my father pays the original price tag and i pay everything as i go in a fixed monthly rate atop of the insurance so i'm actually buying the car. And i've been looking at several of these 85 gt s, the one i'm looking at right now is 4 grand. With a rebuilt engine and an after market carb. And i was wondering if this would be a smart purchase for me? How much would the insurance run me? Currently i pay 100 dollars for a 2003 civic lx. And basic things i would have to watch out for while owning this vehicle? And i understand that with older cars do come certain issues but i'm willing to deal with those as they come.

2016 Mustang GT Loud Exhaust

I just ordered my GT and want to get a exhaust system for it, I'm looking for the loudest exhaust system that also delivers an aggressive tone, even when it is just idling it has a nice loud rumble to it, this is my first mustang, coming from an sti, so I have no idea of which exhaust system is best, I've seen borla catbacks however they sound quiet, might just be the video, and which type of exhaust is louder? Axle back or catback, I'm assuming catback, however I have no idea, thanks in advance

I want to buy a 1960's Ford Mustang. What do I need to know?

I have a budget of about 15-16 thousand cash (not including shipping cost, or the cost for having it looked at and verified by a reputable mechanic), and I don't want a fixer upper. It doesn't have to be a Shelby, or a boss 302, however, if possible I'd like it to be a v8. I'm not really concerned with it having all original parts, just so long as it runs fine, and has minimal issues. I have found plenty in my price range, but I'm not very mechanically inclined, so I don't really know how to spot red flags, or what to lookout for. So I guess my question is; 1. Am I being realistic? 2. If no, then why not? 3. What should I lookout for? 4. And lastly, what do I need to know in general?

2002 Ford Mustang GT making a hissing sound when accelerating?

Ok so i don't know much about cars… Ok >.> i know nothing other than the basic stuff a car should know. I have a 2002 Ford Mustang GT and when i cruising it sounds fine but as soon as i push the peddle in just enough to increase speed i get a constant hissing sound from the passengers side of the car, not a friction type hiss but sounds like high pressure air. I guess it sounds like Nitrous from the Need for Speed games if you know what that sounds like, but ofc I'm not using that. Id take it to a mechanic but don't want to waste the cash if its nothing. Any help is appreciated.

What defines a BOSS 302 engine? (Mustang advice)?

So I'm looking to purchase a 98 mustang. The guy selling it doesn't know a whole bunch about what was done to the engine, he said he bought it like this but he claims it was swapped with a Boss 302. I don't know much about muscle cars, so is there any way to actually verify this is a boss 302? I was told the boss 302 has a 302 Windsor block and 351 Cleveland heads. Since this engine has edelbrock heads, does that not make it a boss? I've attached a picture of the engine if that helps at all.

Also with the 302 engine, edelbrock heads, Parker high rise intake manifold, Holley carb and a cam he said it makes around 370 hp. Does this sound realistic for that engine and modifications?

Any advice on this car before I look at it or purchase it would be greatly appreciated! The body is not in the nicest shape, and it has 177k miles (only 10k on the engine). He's asking $3200. Is this a good price for this car with said modifications?

Thanks for the help! What defines a BOSS 302 engine Mustang advice

Car Dealer RESCINDING DEAL?

I bought a new Ford Mustang a month ago. A week later I received a letter from the finance manager, stating their rescinding the deal. I went personally to talk to them and they informed me not to worry. They will fix it. Its been a month and a half already and they told me they are still trying to find a finance to accept the loan agreement. Can I Just Return It? I Put 1K As Downpayment? I'm frustrated.

5.0L Coyoto Engine, Getrag Transmission?

I'm currently looking into a new car and I'm trying to find a car that isn't trying out new things in their new generations.

The 5.0 Coyote engine has been used in previous year ford models correct?

So it's safe to say the kinks have been worked out and there should be no worries about engine specific problems in the future?

What about the Getrag transmission?

FRS/BRZ seem to be plagued with recalls, and problems such as "crickets" stemming from a bad fuel pump / fuel ethanol ratio?

I'm weary of diving into the new ecoboost mustang because of the new engine too.

And between the Mustang V8 / 4 Cyl and the BRZ/FRS, the only other car I'm looking at right now is the 2016 Mx-5.

Which again is a new gen model, but I can't help but to feel that all of these new gen models look so nice!

2016 mustang or 2016 wrangler unlimited?

O, when I turn 18, I'm planning on buying a new vehicle. But I'm debating between a wrangler and a mustang. My current vehicle is a ford ranger 4x4, it's good off road, but not as good on road. I love to go mudding and I love to go 70 on curvy backroads. I do all that with my ranger, but the fun factor is missing. I also need something that can handle going 80 mph for over 100 miles because I travel a lot too. Can the Jeep handle all of that? I mean yeah, the Jeep won't be going so fast on backroads, and the mustang would get stuck on a pebble in the road, they are both beautiful, so what would you choose in these conditions?
