Ford Mustang or Jeep Wrangler? And other recommendations?

So I'm 16, turning 17. I currently have a 2006 Mustang, but it has had many electrical problems, with the battery dying all the time(yes we have gotten a new battery and alternator for it already), and it has been at the mechanic for over a month now. I've read a lot of people had the same problem with the 2006 Mustangs. My mom wants us to get it fixed and then sell it and I get a newer car or a more reliable one. I love my mustang so much, so I have been looking at some newer ones, along with looking at a Mazda 3. The only thing is that I have been driving my sisters mazda 3, and I don't feel i have a lot of control over it. Anyways then I was thinking about a Jeep wrangler because when I graduate, I'm most likely going to commute to college and I live in a state where we get a few snow storms in the winter, and I want to be able to bring my Border collie around when we go on hikes, and I don't know if it would be safe for her to be in a cramped Mustang. Which one? Any other recommendations? And please don't say a Honda Civic or anything like that. I have been looking at them… And they just arent for me. Sorry this was long, just wanted to explain my situation and etc.

(P.S please don't say the Mustang isn't a good first car, when my car was working, I could control it much easier than my sisters Mazda 3…)

What would be some of the best options for installing a powerful engine in my 2000 Mustang?

Okay. So I have a 2000 V6 Mustang and the car is in really good shape. I have renewed it, it has a new paint job and a lot of new parts but it has a V6 engine. I'm interested in installing a V8 engine, and I know it would take a lot of work. I would have to replace the engine, transmission, exhaust, and reprogram the electrical systems. I was wondering how hard it would be to actually get all that done? I was hoping I could eventually have an engine with around 500 horsepower. Does Ford still have Saleen or Cobra Engines in stock for a 2000 year Mustang?

Drove my car with no oil, will it be ok?

The other day I drove my car about a half mile before I realized the oil gauge was all the way down. As soon as I noticed this I pulled over, shut off the car and checked the dip stick. There was no oil on the dip stick but I looked under the car and saw oil dripping. Since I was very close to home and could not get a hold of anyone I drove it back and kinda just let it coast home. Since then I have replaced the oil/oil filter. I have talked with my step father, who has had many years of experience in this field and he said it ll be fine b/c I did not drive very far. But I ask another retired mechanic and he said I will most likely need a new engine. As of now there's no knocking, but for a second it did feel as though I lost power but I believe this to be b/c of my alternator. My car is a 2001 Ford Mustang GT 4.6L with many performance parts. Anyone s opinion is greatly appreciated.

Weird but, 2016 Mustang v6 or 2016 Jeep jku?

So, when I turn 18, I'm planning on buying a new vehicle. But I'm debating between a wrangler and a mustang. My current vehicle is a ford ranger 4x4, it's good off road, but not as good on road. I love to go mudding and I love to go 70 on curvy backroads. I do all that with my ranger, but the fun factor is missing. I also need something that can handle going 80 mph for over 100 miles because I travel a lot too. Can the Jeep handle all of that? I mean yeah, the Jeep won't be going so fast on backroads, and the mustang would get stuck on a pebble in the road, they are both beautiful, so what would you choose in these conditions?

Can I make more money working at a Ford dealership or open my own shop?

I'm 19 going to uti automotive doing Ford Fact. I'm thinking about working at a dealership then open a shop specializing in ford Mustangs and doing performance. Is there any money to be made in what I want to do. I also want to buy cars and sell them. Also if anyone recommends trying to work for bmw Mercedes or Volvo let me know.
