Kill switch on 2006 Ford Mustang?
Sometimes my car will randomly die. There's a hidden button that when I push it, power is restored to my car. What is the purpose of this? And does anyone have any idea as to why my car would be randomly dying? It doesn't happen often, but I would like a reason.
The button is located in a spot that makes it difficult to accidentally hit it with my foot ora anything like that.
Added (1). Yes the kill switch is by the pedals in the floor. What can I do to avoid this problem?
This is on the floor by the pedals? You have a fuel cut off that pretty much does the same thing in the trunk.
If someone installed a kill switch it could cause the car to stall if it bad.
When the car dies, check this kill switch for continuity. If it is good, suspect a bad ignition switch.
- When did Ford switch back to the Mustang 5.0? I recently bought a 92 f150 and the seller claimed the engine was a Mustang 5.0 from the first model year they switched back to the 5.0. I have no idea when or if Ford did this, but I assumed it was in the 5th generation. The guy did say it was late 90s to early 2000s. Any help on where to find the factory casting nubers or plates would be awesome.
- What's wrong with my 2002 Ford Mustang lock/unlock switch? When the car is on or off I can't lock or unlock using the switch on either door. The only way I can lock/unlock is by using the key fob or by manually using the key. Do I need to replace something? How is the car locking when I use the key fob but not when I press the buttons inside the car?
- I literally want to kill myself? I'm so behind on my **** bro, all my tests and assignments, I have no motivation for this garbage. I wanna ******* die UGH and stupid ******* Doug Ford got rid of the strike what do I ******* do I want to sleep I have so much ******* work ****
- Should I get a 2006 Ford F-150 XLT or 2006 Chevy Silverado Z71? Which truck would be better… I need a tough truck to haul around kids (both are 4-door), a little off-road driving around the farm and fishing, pulling a 4k to 5k trailer. Which engine is better, Fords 5.4L or Chevys 5.3L? Is one transmission better than the other? Which will give me the least or most problems? All pros and cons appreciated, thank you!
