Car dies after I replaced a burned out fuse?

My car AC hasn't been working lately, so I checked the pressure to see if it was leaking refrigerant - the pressure was fine, so I checked the fuse. The AC fuse was burned out, so I replaced it, being careful to select the right amperage and making sure it was the right fuse. However, after I replaced it, my car starts, then dies after about 5 seconds. Did I do something horribly wrong? Is this something that I can reverse easily rather than taking it to a mechanic?

It's a 2000 Ford Focus and I had my battery replaced about 3 months ago and my AC compressor replaced a little over a year ago. I had no check engine light or anything, and it was running fine before I plucked out the little fuse with some pliers. The AutoZone guy that sold me the fuses could tell I was nervous, so he actually came out with me to help me plug it in in the parking lot to make sure it was the right fuse, right place, etc. I'm so baffled that I couldn't even plug in a fuse without breaking my car lol. Thanks for any suggestions!

Added (1). Just went out and tried it - when I remove the fuse, the same thing happens and it stalls. However, when I turn the AC off completely with the new fuse in, it seems to run okay (I'll be honest - I only let it run for about a minute because I was scared a mushroom cloud might pop out of my hood.)

Which should I buy, VW GTI or Ford Focus ST?

So I've been in the market for a new car recently. I love the hot hatches, the mix of performance, fun, and practicality is great. I have been set on the MK7 (2015 GTI) since I heard it was coming out this summer. I was set to go buy one before the month was out, but a family member suggested I should keep my options open and maybe wait till the summer is out, and the GTI hype dies down a little bit.
I was comparing the GTI and the Focus ST the other day, and I love both of them. The GTI is refined, mature, sporty, and just straight out FUN. For any car person out there, I encourage you to give it a test drive; just when you think VW can't top previous GTI models, they do it again.
While on the contrary, the Focus ST is great. It is quick, glues you to your seat, the lines are great, Ford did a great job. It is not as mature as the GTI, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
From a non bias perspective (please), which is the better car to buy? Long term, the GTI with the DSG is a better choice. But the smile the ST puts on your face can't be overlooked, and it looks like I can get the ST at a lower price.

I have a 2006 Ford focus zx4. It over heats?

The cooling fan makes a grinding noise when it attempts to come on. Do I need a mechanic or can I fix this issue at home. I'm just a regular person who doesn't mind diy to conserve on the dollars. I do know a little about using tools tho.

Why In order to get my car to reverse I have to put it on Neutral?

How to get out of JD byrider car company?

I had two cars from JD Byrider and the first one was a lemon the second one I had for two days they told me I couldn't give it back, so I noticed that I was paying 13,000 for a ford focus 2005, and in the end with interest I'm paying 20,000 for this car, I tried taking it back the second day but they refused. But they want me to keep making payments and I refuse to because they are unreasonable and charging way too much. Now there threats of taking my car and sticking me with a loan when, in the end I tried to give it back the second day. What can I do? And how can I leave this sad company? Honest answers please no childish ones
