Would you trust taking this car on a high mileage drive?

I have a 2005 ford f150. 4 wheel drive 5.4 v8. It has 260,000 miles. So far I've put a rebuilt engine in (20,000 ago) changed the oil, tires, alignment, tie rod, alternator, coolant flush, driveshaft/u-joint, a coil pack, previous owner did trans fluid. The truck is running absolutely fine and I have been treating it like new since I got it. Me and a few friends are taking it approx 250 miles (there and back) on Friday. I just hope it makes it because we will be out of state and kind of in the middle of nowhere. 260,000 is a lot of miles. I feel like it would make it there and back but what do you guys think?

2001 Ford F-150 4x4 front suspension issues?

My 2001 F-150 4x4 is lifted approximately 6" (all suspension) rolling on 35" tires. When it came time for me to get new tires and an alignment, I realized that my front end components are not in good condition. The tie rods are currently scraping against the frame, and there's 2" of play side to side in each front wheel. The center link/drag link is also rotating a lot, which is not helping the cause. SO… A few questions. First off, would a drag link typically be changed to accommodate a lift kit like the one mentioned? Second, is there a commonly recurring issue with this year range truck and play in the front suspension?

Where did my brake fluid go?

1988 Ford F150
It's been sitting for 2 years.
Just got it running tonight and brake pedal went to floor.
Checked reservoir and it was EMPTY
What gives?!

Best truck for off road and long distance?

I'm interested in buying a truck and I'm looking for recommendations. I will be traveling long distance (road trips) and I will be spending a lot of time driving up mountains and off road terrain. A few of the trucks I'm interested in are the Ford F-150, the Chevy Colorado and I also looked at the jeep Cherokee but it wasn't spacious enough. Any other recommendations?
