I don't want to sell my first car? Is this normal to be sad about a car?

So my entire life, I've been into cars. I remember growing up and always being obsessed with new cars my parents would buy, and think they are the coolest things ever, and want my own. Kid you not, i worked all the way from 8th grade to now I currently am. I saved up 6,000 by the time I was 16 and bought my own truck (Ford F-150). I seriously don't picture myself with out it. Like it is a part of me. I'll never forget the day I got it and my license the feelings of freedom it brought me were great. I had so many memories with it in high school and college now is great too. I do all the maintenance myself and pay for it myself too. I'm 19 now, and have enough money to buy a newer car with less miles. But also, I don't see why i should sell it. The truck runs and looks new, but it's got 270,000 miles and does have a problem here or there but I always just fork out the cash and fix it myself or pay my friend. But it's never left me stranded yet. The major repairs have mostly already been done. Rust, and a new motor. Like now I look back on cars we've previously owned and on some of them I miss the ride, smell, look, memories, comfort of these cars. When I go on vacations I miss my truck! I want to park it some where in a garage and save it for a classic car basically. Another thing I don't know what new car or truck I want. I've built many online and driven many and none of them are like the truck I have now. I just want it to last forever!

What is the technical name for my truck?

I have a single cab that is extended an additional foot (estimate) for storage. I always thought it was just called an f150 extended cab (its a ford truck). However, every time I look for a subwoofer box for it, apparently an extended cab is the same as a crew cab.

So what is the technical name of my truck and if you also know of a subwoofer box that holds 2 10" subs and will fit snug in my 2005 f150 please let me know!

1994 Ford F-150 start/battery and idle issues?

I have a 94 F-150 with the 300 straight six. With the key on, the battery will read low. When I start the truck, the battery gauge will read as it should. In some rare cases, most usually when taking off with the headlights on, the belt will scream like Hell and the gauge drops extremely. Usually if I turn the headlights off and drive it for a second the belt will quit and it'll return to normal. If the truck is cold when I first start it, and I try to turn the heat up, it will bog the engine down and kill it. Has a noticeable misfire at idle. In even rarer cases, and it does it more often when under an electrical load, the battery gauge and idle will drop and raise repetitively. I was personally thinking it's a MAP sensor or the IAC. Very occasionally, while driving, I'll hear a whistle type sound coming from what seems to be the engine, which leads to me to believe it may also be a vacuum leak. Any response would be greatly appreciated.
