How to fix ford explorer power windows?

I have a 98 ford explorer and I need help fixing the power windows. The drivers window works fine, all passenger windows will not go up or done unless I use the driver side controls… The motors are good because like I said, I just have to use the controls on the drivers side and they roll up and down… I have referred to the manual and checked all the fuses and none of the fuses seem to be burned out… Can someone please help me?

How many miles can i put on my rental while my truck is fixed after an accident?

How many miles am I allowed to put on my rental while I await the return of my vehicle? Ok a friend swung by the other day & well slammed into the front right side of my Ford explorer on the way out! Actually did close to $3,000 in damage! Luckily nobody got hurt & he has full coverage & we're going threw his insurance company state farm so i'm actually coming out Scott free on this. As long as I dnt mess up this rental in any way I won't even have to pay the security deposit. Only money out of my pocket really is on fuel thank the lord! But I want to go see my boyfriend who is working outta state right now and I'm worried they may keep the deposit or sumthn if I put too many miles on it. It would only be like 300 miles Max maybe not even that. Can they keep my $50 deposit if I drive too far according to them? I know something doing like smoking in the car too much or even at all would definitely give them the right to keep it i'm just not so sure about mileage limits and such.

Can siran wrap damage car paint?

Last night I went and siran wraped this lady I know at work car( older maybe no more than 2000 ford explorer) I didn't siran wrap it much just went around twice. Nothing under the vehicle. I thought it was harmless and wanted to make her laugh. But it turned out her husband got really upset( like wanted to call the cops) I apologize to them both. It was maybe on for an hour and half last night. No sun hit it… No warmer than 40 out. The husband saying he waiting initial dark out tonight to see if there was any paint damage? It wasn't sticky siran wrap and as of right now I know you can't see anything. Is it possibly there will be? Honestly thought it was harmless

Converting my 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac from air ride to coil suspension?

I bought a project truck from a guy in NC a few years ago that had an after market air ride suspension system in it. It was fine until I fixed the truck up a little and made it my daily driver. Now I'm having way too many problems with the suspension that I've decided to just convert it back to coil suspension. Unfortunately, the previous owner cut up the area where the coils go to make room for the air bags and I'm stuck trying to figure out the best way to go about the conversion. I also want a nice lift to it so I'd prefer taller coils. Any suggestions or product recommendations?

Map lights in 2000 Ford Explorer?

I have a 2000 Ford Explorer XLT that I'm having a small issue with. There's a flat metal, maybe copper, piece that fits in between the light bulbs and light housing. The metal piece broke in half on both sides and now my map lights are not working. Where could I find a small piece of metal to fit it? I'm guessing it helps with the connection since it was working fine before it broke.

I know the description isn't that great but it is just a small, flat thin piece of metal (copper).

What generation Ford Explorer should I get?

I'm a 16 year old guy and I have decided that I want a Ford Explorer as my first car. What generation do I get? There are 5 generations. (1991-94, 1995-01, 2002-05, 2006-2010) Here's what I'm looking for.

RPM's suddenly drop while driving?

I drive a '98 Ford Explorer and recently the RPM's will suddenly drop while i'm driving. I will accelerate and the transmission will go through the normal gear cycle shifting at around 3-3.5k (sometimes it shifts at 2.5k) and once i reach a cruising speed and let off the gas a little bit, the RPM's drop to around 1800. It used to stay steady at around 2.3k while cruising so the sudden change is a bit weird. It will also feel like it's jerking a little bit when starting to accelerate, and it doesn't have as much power as it used to. Could this be a larger problem with the transmission, or are there other simple solutions to fix it?
