1996 ford explorer dash lights/cruise control lights/ pre-set radio lights out?

Okay, So I have a 1996 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer edition and the lights that don't turn on are:

Dashboard lights
Cruise control lights on steering wheel
Radio button/knob lights ( the light that tells you what radio station you are on works fine, it's the lights underneath the buttons and knobs that don't light up)
The buttons on the panel that gives you information such as mileage, gas, and other info don't turn on as well but the info on the screen lights up. Here is a pic

I have already checked the fuses and they're fine.

Can i afford a Nice New SUV From a Dealership?

Ok I'm currently in an '03 Ford explorer that I obtained threw a small town dealership the February before last. My question here is can I take it to a nice Chevy or Ford dealership and actually leave with a good deal being that I only owe 3,000 on it? I'm 26 yrs old my credit should be moderately higher since I've been paying my truck note early & on time never late, along with my bank loan, hospital bills ect. The explorer has quite a bit of miles on it 137k to be exact. This would be my 1st time going to a big dealership so I dnt wanna get conned. I want either a 2012-13-14 Chevy trailblazer SS, traverse, Tahoe, Dodge Durango, or another Ford explorer not sure what yr. Give me the steps like your talking to a kindergartner i'm new at this!

How to fix belt squeak on 2004 ford explorer?

2004 ford explorer started squeaking from time to time only when the A/C was turned on about 8 months ago. And looking online it was recommended that a cheap and probable problem was the idler pulley and the belt itself. So I replaced those and the squeak stopped for about a week or two then came back. Well over time the problem has gotten worse and it now squeaks upon cranking and accelerating whether the A/C is on or not. I also read that a problem could be that when an alternator is going out it will squeak, so today that finally went out and I had the opportunity to replace it. And the squeak is still there. I'm at my wits end with this and don't have the time, money, or patience to deal with (usually) dishonest mechanics who want to charge an arm and a leg. Anyone have any advice/tips? It would be greatly appreciated.

2000 ford explorer P0171 and P0174?

I just bought this 2000 ford explorer and went to get emissions done but failed. Thought it was odd since i didn't have a check engine light on so after changing some instrument bulbs, sure enough i had a check engine light. I got three codes when i had it checked. P0171, P0174, and P0113. They all seem to be about air flow. There are no obvious cracks or leaks that I can see and I have cleaned the mass air flow sensor. Has anyone had these issue and found a easy fix? I'm not rich and do not want to pay a mechanic hundreds to thousands of dollars to fix something that i can do myself. Any help would be appreciated.
