Where can I find wrecked cars?

I'm a 16 year old guy and I'm thinking of rebuilding a wrecked car. Recently, my dad's friend let me drive her 2014 Ford Explorer XLT. When I drove it, I really liked it. Me and my dad have always wanted a project car. I told him my idea of rebuilding a wrecked car and he liked the idea. I just don't know where to start. Where can I find wrecked cars? It won't be anything that's real bad. Just something that needs a new door or front end. Where can I find parts? I know people who can help me out with paint and repairs. I picked this car because it can be driven in the winter.

1997 Ford Explorer is not starting?

Just bought a 1997 ford explorer sport the next day
We went out sunday and the car left us stranded as it just decided not to start up
and out of the many times we tried starting it it did and when i put it into Drive
the car stalled and had to try again i don't want to kill the battery
the car will remain on but when i accelerate in drive there's no horse power
acceleration now the car doesn't start at all any ideas i'm willing to compensate!
i'm just really frustrated and worried

No start no crank 04 ford explorer?

When i put the key in the ignition switch the lights come on but it only makes a clicking sound, nothing else.

I went through the simple tests:
1)My battery is good
2) i checked all my fuses and relays
3) we took out our starter and it tested good
4) since we had a oil leak from valve cover gasket i changed the spark plugs

I have two theories
1) the fuel pump is bad
2) the engine locked up

1) i did the gas cap hearing test to see if it makes a sound when you turn on the key but i didn't hear anything, if i did it was just a faint sound that can barely be heard

2)it does have oil but when i try to turn the harmonic balancer/ crankshaft pulley it won't budge, i'm using a regular ratchet because i don't have a torque wrench but does it matter? I'm turning it clockwise, unless its supposed to be super tight cause it won't budge

any suggestions or other tests i can do

Added (1). We took the starter off and went to a parts store to test it since i suspected it might have gone bad from all the oil leaking on it from the bad valve cover gasket but it tested out good

It does have anti theft but i don't know how to mess with it or diagnose to try to help my car

2003 Ford Explorer PATS Anti Theft Problem

I have 2003 Ford Explorer in which this truck will not start and anti theft light blinks rapidly then slows down to show a code where it blinks twice with a pause then twice again. I believe the code is 22 which says no pcm id stored within pats module. I had a locksmith come out to program a new in which it wouldnt learn a new key. I'm thinking of buying a new pcm already flashed to my vin number, however will i need to do anything with the pats module? I also replaced the transceiver at the ignition which did nothing.

Should I get rid of my car?

I bought a Honda Civic EX coupe 06 a couple months back, it had a salvage title, fixed it up and such. I wrecked it after that and fixed it up again.

This car now has 87k miles on it, the inside is a little torn up, not bad, but the back of the passenger seat is pretty much off. It now has a rebuilt title, and has been having problems, not super serious ones, but it has had two cylinder misfires on the same cylinder in a month. I'm taking it into my local mechanic in a few days to have him check for something more serious, because the last time i changed the coil and it was fine for a while. It's a great car, i love it, but i know if i sell it i will have a hard time, and will probably get hardly anything out of it. What do i do? My dad has brought up the option of me using his 07 ford explorer, i just don't know if i should sell it and downgrade and take the money i get for it. Because i can't afford to sell it and get a car for the same price. I'm a senior in high school, and if i Really wanted the car fixed my dad would fix it. I just feel like more problems will be coming up and it'll end up with me more down in the bucket. I have put so much time and money into this car it sucks. What do i do?
