Does a 1997 two door sport edition ford explorer have a ignition key and a door lock?
Added (1). A separate key for both I should say. My battery is dead, doors are locked, and the windows are all up. I need advice on how to get back in to my Explorer.
My uncle has one, and as far as I know his does have both of those things.
It has a separate igniton and door lock key?
If it has electric locks the key may be useless at any rate. Not sure what year Ford started it but at least in 2001 the electric lock equipped vehicles would not lock nor unlock with a key. Lose the clicker and you're up a stump.Same for a dead battery.
- If I have a 2008 Mercury Mariner and have the key below could I use the standard key and remote? What I mean by standard remote and key is like the ones Ford, Mecury, and Lincoln came out with at first with just a remote and key. Also how would an extra key cost like the one in the picture above? Would it be cheaper to do the the standard key and remote?
- I just bough a Ford Windstar sport edition 2006. What is the book value of the van? Better yet how much taxes will I have to pay to transfer it into my name? Darn MTO… All about money… Fml
- I have a Ford F150. I'm thinking about going to walmart and get a key copy, and it has a chip. Will the key they provide me start the car? It's a 2007 model by the way. It has a chip on the key, and I was wondering if the cloned car key they give me be able to start the car up.
- Can you remove the plastic ignition lever/guard around the ignition lock on a 2002 Ford F150? In my 02 F150 there's a plastic sleeve thing around the ignition lock that the key fits into. Is it possible to remove this and reinstall it without breaking it? How?
