I soon need some new tires for my 2001 Ford Explorer, the current tires are 255/70R16 and I don't plan to change the size when i get new ones. I would like to get new rims with them. I found some that say they fit my car, but it says the rec. Tire size is for 235/70R16. I'm assuming/hoping the rims will still fit but I just want to make sure before I purchase them with the new tires.
I just had the fuel pump replaced because it very low fuel pressure and wouldnt accelerating. Now the car is jerking randomly most when going up a hill. There are no check engine codes! Any input would be nice!

My truck somewhat rumbles when on Highway. Or even when driving on the road. As if I'm driving on an uneven or gravel rocky road. There's a noise when I turn my wheel. I think it may be my bearings. Also there's a ticking under the hood. Could be my timing belt. But really I'm not entirely sure why my truck is feeling very rough when I drive. If anyone can help me out with that. Could it be my suspension? Stabilizers? Unbalanced wheels? I'm not sure
I've been looking to downsize and have been looking around for a while now. Recently, a 2002 Volkswagen jetta has caught my interest. It has 123,000 miles, has a very good interior, but the paint on the hood of the car is peeling. It's being sold for $2200. How many more miles could I get out of it? I'm going to test it out today. What things should I look for or ask the owners about? I've heard about the timing belt issue as well as the serpentine belt.
Added (1). It is automatic transmission if that helps.
Added (2). I went onto carcomplaints.com and compared the issues of the 2002 Volkswagen Jetta to my Ford explorer and from what I saw there are far lesser complaints and issues with the jetta.

How to tell if camshaft synchronizer shaft is bad on 2000 ford explorer with 5.0 liter engine?
I just buy a 1998 Ford Explorer XLT and I have one
key thats chipped and program to my car and then
two key fobs that are also program to my car, but
before that no matter if my doors are locked or
unlocked my theft light blinks. I actually think that
might be normal but when I lock the doors no
matter what method I used to lock the doors
whether it's the inside lock, the keypad locks on the
outside or the lock on the key fob the first white
stays lit but gets brighter every few seconds and
then them back down again but never fully goes
out. And when that happens my car alarm will go
off about 10 minutes later for no reason, I've been
having to lock all the doors and then use my key in
the driver door to unlock and relock and it's getting
rather annoying. What do you think would happen
or what could we do to fix it?
