Why ford explorer is so slow?

I'm a high school "kid" LOL. My dad has bought me a brand new 2015 ford explorer limited last year. It was a really nice suv: its pretty roomy, comfortable, and I love its features and the steering. My friends are jealous. After all, it is a $60,000 vehicle.(Canadian dollars) and its the most expensive car in my school parking lot. Even many of my teachers were jealous LOL. However, i found this car is so so so so so slow… Personally, I love brand new vehicles, I love big suvs, I love fast cars. Mercedes Gl 63 AMG is super fast, but I'm sure my dad won't buy me that $150,000 vehicle LOL (How stupid am i lol) I was about to buy a jeep grand cherokee until I found the big ford explorer has almost the same features, and Its much cheaper than jeep grand cherokee. I know I'm a lucky guy, but I always feeling not satisfied. Are there anybody who drives the same car as mine? What do you guys think of it?

What's the best family suv?

Been looking to stay under $5k
I like so far the models below need something with space but not too big preferably a v6 and if possible 3rd row seats
2003 and later models of ford explorer
The trailblazers
And 2006 Kia Sorento
Family of 4
2 adults and 2 kids
But I've heard bad things on explorer and worse things on trailblazers and haven't done much research on Kia Sorento but need advice see if anyone has more experience with suv want a reliable one and one that does not get a lot of common oil leaks

Do you think I ll get approved for this car?

I recently found a 2011 Ford Explorer Limited with 68,000 miles for $24,000 that I want to buy. I have a car that is entirely in my name. I've had it for almost a year, never missed a payment, never been late. It was my first line of credit so it was a relatively inexpensive car. I still owe $11,000 on it and the ford dealership offered me $7,000 to trade it in (honestly more than I was expecting). I have a small credit card that I just recently paid off to a balance of zero but I'm not sure if the company has reported it to the credit bereaus yet. It was practically maxed out and because of that, last time I checked my score it was a 586. So with $4000 of negative equity, a score of 586 (assuming… It could be higher now) and $5,000.00 cash down, what do you think my chances are?

My car won't start, the starter won't even make a ticking noise?

I own a Ford Explorer Sport(2-door) 01, and I recently replaced the steering column, I hooked everything up bought a newwer battery, that had been ran dead, I put the battery on charge at 10milianp for 10 minutes and then put it on 50 milliamp… Turned the key and the airbag light came on(I removed my drivers seat to replace the column and haven't put it back in), the battery light came on and the check engine light came on (and I go to start it and it won't even click, the outside lights anf the compass will show and read correctly, but the interior open door sound won't even sound and I was wondering if anybody has got a clue? Any help would be awesome thank you! Also if any one knows the wire harnesses names too that wound be awesome!

2005 Ford Explorer takes a long time to start?

I have a 2005 Ford Explorer with around 40,000 miles and lately when I go to start it, the engine will rev for longer than usual and then it ll turn on. When I bought it used it started up quick like it's supposed to but I'm worried if this is serious or not? It starts everytime, it just takes a while, which is why I haven't taken it in yet.
