Ford Explorer XLT 2004 Some mechanical issues?
Ford Explorer XLT 2004
My truck somewhat rumbles when on Highway. Or even when driving on the road. As if I'm driving on an uneven or gravel rocky road. There's a noise when I turn my wheel. I think it may be my bearings. Also there's a ticking under the hood. Could be my timing belt. But really I'm not entirely sure why my truck is feeling very rough when I drive. If anyone can help me out with that. Could it be my suspension? Stabilizers? Unbalanced wheels? I'm not sure
Common problems with these are the wheel bearings. The other is with the rear end. Find shop to take a look at it for firm diagnosis

- What are some good things to do to my 2007 Ford V6 Mustang to get some more power and performance? I want to get more power and better performance out of my V6 and no I don't want to trade up for a V8. I inherited this car and its paid off and only has 11,000 miles on it. Not to mention sentimental value so please leave your hate for V6s for someone else. I just want to know some cost effective ways to get more out of my stang. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.
- I have a 2004 ford explorer XLT. I'm unable to get the car out of park. My break lights do work? I'm at an incline with rear facimg downwards. I've located the break shift interlock slot but not exactly sure how to override it. And yes I do have my foot on the break when switching.
- Hear me out on this I'm considering getting a 2004 Ford Explorer xlt or a 2005 jetta 2.5? The Jetta gets 22 city 30 Highway. Tank capacity 14.5 gallons which means 319 miles city 435 highway while on the other hand the explorer gets 16 city and 21 highway with a fuel tank capacity of 22.5 gallons which would mean city it'll get 360 city 472 highway wouldn't the explorer get the better gas mileage? But yes it is more expensive to fill Jetta would cost around 34 dollars and the explorer around 54 dollars
