2008 Dodge Charger SE?

I've basically always wanted a Charger. Well I get to pick out a new car for christmas (since my old one sucks and we're selling my dad's truck) and I really like this 08 Charger, it has 131,000 miles. Which I don't think is terrible considering we're nearing 2018. I just worry because I have heard of the 2.7L Engine causing issues. I have a 2005 Ford Escape XLT V6 right now, so I'm used to decently heavy cars, as I know Chargers are.
This Charger has only had 2 owners, and no accidents in check.
It looks like a DREAM car for me, so I've been interested in it.
My friends tell me to definetely go for the V8's and HEMI's. The only problem with that, is most of them are out of the price range because I know the engines are more built, but I'm interested in this one, and I would LOVE to get it. I just would like some expertise on this before we go to look at it.
(P.S. Grandad is gonna go with us next week and he builds cars - so I'm hoping there's no issues. Like they say, drive it before you buy it)

Are you intimated by lifted pickup trucks?

I drive a lifted truck for work. I don't do it because I want to be cool, it's functional. Need the height and ground clearance to drive on job sites to get to heavy equipment to fuel them or repair them if they break down. Its not a huge lift or tires, just a 4 inch lift with 34" offroad tires (not much bigger than stock). I've noticed people get nervous when I'm driving towards them on side streets or narrow roads. They pull over to the side when there's more than enough room for the both of us. In parking lots people give me the right of away or they just freeze and don't know what to do. If I'm stopped at a 4 way stop and someone is making a left or right turn towards me, they will wave me to go first. They don't think they have enough room to get around me. Are you intimidated by trucks? I only use this truck for work. My personality vehicle is a ford escape where I never have this issue with other drivers.

Added (1). For all of you getting mad. Keep in mind I DO NOT OWN this truck. It is a company vehicle that is used for work. The lift and tires are functional and required for me to do my job.

Will it cost a lot to add a driver to my insurance?

I'm 23 and drive a 2017 Ford Escape (base model). I'm insuranced through geico and have been for about 3 years now. I have been accident free and my monthly premium is 88 dollars a month. Due to finance problems my mom agreed to take over my car loan and in return drive her car which is a 2012 Honda Civic which I have done so many times. But I'm still required to keep insurance on the Escape as the car is still in my name. Considering she's in her fifties and been accident free for 30 Plus years will my rate go up?

Car shopping: Chevy cruz/5 seater cars good with Small kids?

We have 2 kids (5 and 8 months). We have a third on the way. We have a Ford Escape right now. It's getting too small. There's no room for a third car seat in the back. We went to a dealership yesterday and we found a Dodge Journey. 7 seater, everything we have ever wanted in a vehicle. (They gave us a 3 day permit to test it out and let us have time to think it over while driving it.) But the only thing is, the monthly payments are way over budget. My husband doesn't really get this and is all for getting this vehicle but isn't thinking clearly or ahead. I mean, we can afford it, but it'll be extremely financially tight. So I don't want to get it because I stress a lot over money. I was looking at another vehicle that will definitely fit our budget, even below budget. It's a 2017 Chevy Cruze. I love it. It looks really spacious in the back like it'll fit 3 car seats. I think this will be the best option for us. Has anyone put 3 car seats in the back of a 5 seater car? I looked in the back of 5 seaters and the Chevy Cruze has more room than other car even my Ford Escape. Please don't tell me to buy a car straight up with no payments. That's not an option.

Should I change the transmission fluid?

Hey so I've got a 2001 Ford Escape V6 XLT V6. The car used to be my mom's then she gave it to me my senior year of high school. I graduated in 2015 and the car is still going with almost 220,000 miles. I don't know if the car has ever had the transmission changed or not. I remember her taking it to a transmission specialist but I don't know what was done and neither does she. I'm starting a new job this week and I'd like to change the fluids and any filters, I typically change the oil every other month, Fill the coolant, and change the oil/fuel filters every few months. But the trans fluid I typically don't mess with because I remember reading that changing it can cause damage. What is the difference between the flush and a change? The fluid is brown which means it's burnt. Should I drain it and fill it back up?

Can any tire fit a 16 rim?

I have a 2012 Ford Escape with P235/70 R16. What I want to do is get a set of used rims to put winter tires on them so when seasons change, I can throw the tires on and be good. So can I just find any 16 rim and fit P235/60 tires on it?
