I have a 2004 ford taurus. About a month ago the CEL came on, ran to advanced auto to get a code and they said my bank 2 was too lean. Yesterday, got a code run again and they said bank 1 and 2 too lean. They said it was probably my oxygen sensors. The car has developed a rough idle when first starting up and has lost some power and acceleration. I plan to take it to a mechanic soon, but until then i'm trying to find out what the problem is. Any suggestions?
My cars oil light (red) and gas cap light (yellow light down and left from the oil light) is on in my car. I used a scan tool and no codes came up. It's not leaking oil and everything is fine. I just do not know why the two lights are on? I bought the car about two months ago and the lights were on before i bought the car…

The break lights won't turn off, it's like I'm constantly pushing the brake when I'm not, the only time they turn off is when the car is off.

I have a 2000 Ford Taurus station wagon the value is $1600 I was foolish to finance purchase for $6500 two years ago now the car needs around $1700 in repairs I need new abs modulator a new brake caliper new struts and tire rods and hub bearing is it worth putting money into or should I let the car go to the junk yard not to long ago I had to repair the windshield and get new rear brakes financially I can't afford to get the repairs done I'm torn because I don't want to buy a new car and finance the purchase but I'm tired of this car
I have a 2003 ford taurus and one day I was driving home and the street to turn on to my apartment has a sort of a deep slope and once I went up it my car made this loud noise and stalled into idle. After pushing it down the street I had a friend check the diagnostic reader and it said cylinder 1 misfire. The engine turns over When started but it is still making that Loud noise and stays in idle, my grandma's friend said it might be the tranny but I don't want to sell it if the problem is fixable. Can anyone help?
Also I have replaced the number 1 spark plug, but nothing changed.
