Well I'm pretty sure you can but I noticed you have to buy the aftermarket raido kit for the car which is like 40$. And it includes the wires for heat and all that but just making sure I will be able to hook a custom head unit up to the wires inside the car?
I got 2 cars that need repairs, and don't have any other transportation to the auto store to get the parts needed.
The 1st car is a Ford Taurus(1999) and it's leaking antifreeze from the firewall hose like a water fountain.
The 2nd car is a Honda Civic (1992) and its PVC valve is broken off, I'm not sure what a PVC valve does exactly.
Anyway the Auto Parts Store is about 3 miles away(going 30 MPH). Does either car have a CHANCE of making it there without causing more damage(more repairs)?
I have a 2003 Ford Taurus with the DOHC engine. When the AC is turned on my compressor seems to repeatedly engage and disengage.
I recently installed a new compressor and installed a new coil pack to try to fix it but it still didn't help. The AC blows still blows cold air just fine. It's just noticeable when I'm idling in park or at a stoplight. I don't want it to seize and f my car up lol.
Any ideas what I should check?
Added (1). I recharged to AC system when I replaced the compressor.

I did hit a pot hole or drain hole, ever since then this happens. I have a 2014 Ford Taurus.
I have a 2004 Ford Taurus. I had to get my whole dashboard replaced because the motor on the needle of the temperature guage broke. My miles are off by a lot now, and I was wondering if there was a way I could put it back to the correct miles. My car was at 189,000 miles and now it is at 133,000 miles.

Car was smoking, smelling like burning oil.
Took to Midas. Head Gasket was leaking oil onto manifold, egr valve, oil pan set, water pump, timing cover gasket. All new wires and plugs. After that was done discovered that my car was leaking anit-freeze. Had to go back and have them fix that.(hose came disconnected). A couple days later noticed the thermos stat wasn't working correctly anymore(they replaced that too) had to bring it back, they told me a story about how some cars thermos stats go up and down when they accelerate and decelerate.( my stat goes to the middle but drops all the time and goes back up. They looked at it and said nothing was wrong. About a month goes by, may car starts reaking like oil again and smoke comes shooting through my ac vents. Had to take back AGAIN. Turns out my oil pan gasket was leaking onto manifold. So they fixed it free of course. Now 2 weeks later after they fixed that, my car continues to reak of burning oil. I understand a couple days after work is done it can still smell. But weeks after? WHAT do i do now? Take my car back to them again? Or have a different place look at it? And find out if midas ****** up again. Because i'm about sick of midas.

I'm 17 and I just bought a 2008 Ford Taurus from a dealer with about 170,000 miles and no warranty. Everything on the car appears to be fine, I had my uncle, who is a mechanic, look at it before I threw out 7k.
But now a month later I've noticed that at about 50mph-70mph the car kinda feels like it's struggling to go or like it jumps? If I stomp on the gas it stops and when it happens it only spuds for a few seconds. When I put on cruise control it usually helps and doesn't do it as often or as hard. Also when I'm going about 40mph+ up a relatively steep incline it does the same thing. The check engine light is not on and it doesn't effect my MPG.
Does anyone know what might be happening? I would kinda like to get an idea of what's going on before I go and ask my uncle for help or take it to a ford garage.
My 2003 Ford Taurus ran fine this morning. My mom just came home and told me my Theft light is flashing every few seconds. The car started just fine but the light didn't stop flashing like I thought it would. I don't have the manual for the car anymore. How do I make it stop?
