My car makes a pulsating humming noise when I go over 60MPH?
I did hit a pot hole or drain hole, ever since then this happens. I have a 2014 Ford Taurus.
Might have bent a rim or ruined a tire. Also possible something in the front end. Take it to a tire shop for them to look at it
It may be a damaged tire, but it sounds like you may have damaged the WHEEL BEARING.
Bad tires Wheel bearings don't pulsate.
- Car won't start, power works and makes a single click noise? I have a 93 ford Taurus. When I try to start my car, it was just making a single click noise and then would eventually start after I tried a couple more times. The other day it wouldn't start, still made the single click noise, I tried a couple more times and now it doesn't make the noise at all. The power works, my headlights don't dim or anything like that. I've had my car jumped and that still didn't work so I'm curious as to what it could be?
- I have a ford forte when I turn my air con on it makes a noise then my car stalls? Ever since it did that even with the air con off it makes like a funny hissing/airflow noise it's hard to explain. I'm worried because I'm ment to be going on a long drive tomorrow
- My car makes a whirring noise, what could it be? When idling, my 4 cylinder Ford Fusion makes a whirring sound, almost like my car is electronic. Just kind've a weird higher pitched sound that doesn't sound like a gas engine. Its always made this noise (since I bought it), and it's been fine to drive for a year. What could it be?
- Humming Noise coming from under the hood. Any ideas? I have a 2008 Ford Fusion SE 4 Cylinder with 78,000 miles on it. When I accelerate I hear a humming noise coming from the front. The higher the RPM's the louder it gets. The sound begins after 1000 RPM's. I sat it and parked it and put my foot on the gas pedal and went up to 4,000 RPMS and it sounded like a siren you would hear in the movies for like code red or something I don't know. I have no idea what it may be. Answers would be very much appropriated.
