2 Cars with issues. Will either car make it to the auto parts store?

I got 2 cars that need repairs, and don't have any other transportation to the auto store to get the parts needed.

The 1st car is a Ford Taurus(1999) and it's leaking antifreeze from the firewall hose like a water fountain.
The 2nd car is a Honda Civic (1992) and its PVC valve is broken off, I'm not sure what a PVC valve does exactly.

Anyway the Auto Parts Store is about 3 miles away(going 30 MPH). Does either car have a CHANCE of making it there without causing more damage(more repairs)?

Just walk or bike the 3 miles… Worthwhile effort when the risk is causing several hundred dollars in extra repairs.

the Taurus may make it if you top off the water when leaving the house and again when leaving the store.

Take the Honda after you get the broken PCV parts out of the hose and the valve cover grommet, stick a bolt or pencil in the hose.Don't worry about the valve cover hole (if there's no sand storms).drive to store, after you get the parts, install the new valve and drive home to fix your Ford…

It's P C V… Positive Crankcase Ventilation, valve, It will make the trip without a PCV valve… The other one,… Might run out of coolant and over heat before you get back home

Drive the Honda to the auto store and get the parts needed for both vehicles.

Remove heater hose and use only one of them. Connect it to both water outlets on engine. No more leak. PVC failure isn't common. But, you can just leave it shoved into the valve cover. No harm no foul. The Honda is cheaper to fix and will make it. The Taurus part will cost more. And likely be far more difficult to get to and cure.

You DO have alternate transportation for 3 miles. Its called YOUR FEET. This may surprise you, but it shouldn't take you 2 hours to walk the the parts store, make your purchases, and walk home.
