Would an auto part store have a replacement bolt for the valve cover of my 2002 Ford Focus?
I broke one trying to put it back on today. Is that somthing they'll have at Advanced Autoparts or Auto Zone? Or should I try to find a similar bolt at Home Depot or something?
Auto parts store. And BACK OFF buddy! Those bolts are only supposed to be less than 10-ft/lbs. With aluminum heads you can really screw things up by working without a torque wrench.
Just take one of the unbroken bolts with you and match it up. Any of those places will be able to match it up but since you only need one bolt, go to Home Depot and buy just one.
