You see, President Bill Clinton was a bad boy
who lied about having consensual sex.
Wow, it was very important that they investigate.
Kavanaugh is accused of sexual assault of two women.
Republicans feel that this is not important and they do
not need to investigate.
It's a good thing republicans have their priorities straight.
Does the fact that they will write a script for a pretty face to read make this political theater?

It would seem like a no brainier to me. Ford says he was there, all he has to do is stand up and say it never happened under oath and it's a home run for them.

Republicans want Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court for political reasons. Not because he's qualified or a good candidate (clearly, he is not).
Republicans want Kavanaugh confirmed so they can claim a 'win' before the elections. They don't seem to care about what he's done or what they have to overlook to put him there. Mitch McConnell said as much when he vowed "We're gonna plow right through" the controversy and take the vote.
I honestly have no words to describe how outrageous this is. This goes beyond politics, beyond Party. This is about doing the right thing.
I can't believe I even have to write this, but I do: putting a man facing allegations of sexual assault on the Supreme Court for a lifetime is NOT the right thing.
