2009 Ford Focus engine swap and crash bar removal

I'm doing an engine swap on a 2009 1.6 tdci Ford Focus estste replacing the old blown engine with another working one and from what I've read the engine can't be lifted out and has to be dropped out the bottom of the car. With no access to a ramp it makes life a bit awkward and the plan is to take the nose off the car (bumper and crash bar) and take the engine out that way. But I was wondering if this is even possible because I've read that on newer model focuses the crash bar can't be removed.

Also, I've read the form about registering the change of engine and it says it needs a main dealer stamp and signature. Does anyone know how much a Ford dealer will charge to do this here in Ireland?

Is it my A/C Compressor? 2010 Ford Focus SES?

So I've been taking my car to various mechanics to check my car because it's been acting up. My A/C went out earlier this year because a mechanic left the Freon cap off. Recharged it and it worked till I stopped using my A/C a few months ago (not sure about now since I haven't used it). It sounded like my serpentine belt needed checking. It also went from sounding like a normal car to a small truck. I took it to a mechanic around Thanksgiving because my car stalled and had a good deal of white smoke coming out. They said nothing was wrong. I took it to get checked again yesterday because the white smoke happened again with a different smell (along with problems braking) though it didn't stall. They said nothing was wrong and I went home. Last night the white smoke came back, braking issues till I parked it, and it stalled.

Today took it back and they say the compressor is locked up and they need to replace it with pulleys and belts. $1000-1500. Should I take it to get checked somewhere else? I typically trust these guys, but I'm frustrated.

Squeaking coming from under my Focus

Hello everyone I have a 2005 Ford Focus st (for details) and every time I move my (manual) gear stick to the left to shift into first, I hear a slight squeak coming from what sounds like the underneath of the car. So should I be concerned? Where should I grease?

Central locking failed can't open drivers door?

I have a Ford Focus 1999 and the central locking has failed to the point where the drivers door is permanently locked and can't be opened even with the key. I've changed the fuse (thanks ford for making it the only fuse at the rear of the fuse box) but this has not worked. I'm having to enter the car via the passenger door and climb over! Is there a way to reset the central locking or does anyone know how I can fix the problem?
