So I just got this car and the dome and map lights won't turn on at night when I open the car door. It's very inconvenient, if someone knows what to do if really appreciate it. Like they stay off when I open the door, and it has 2 buttons (one has a sun icon and the other says "off")… Please help!
My 2012 Ford Focus SE had a battery go dead. A day after that, the wipers went on by themselves while driving. They kept going after the car was turned off. Eventually they stopped. When I unlocked the car by remote, the wipers started again.
When I need the wipers (rain) and try and turn them on by the wiper switch, nothing happens. Windshield Washer works, and all fuses are fine.
Any Ideas?
I've been looking for a reliable car that still looks kind of cool and these GM and Ford products look good and have a little power under the hood… (At least in the gt g6)
But are these cars nearly as reliable as a Mazda or Honda?
I can't fit in a civic so that was ruled out quickly haha…
I just got a used 2010 Ford focus. I've been trying to sync up my phone, and I've been reading on how to do it. I press the phone button and try to scroll to "add Bluetooth device" but it doesn't scroll. It just says "no phone" no matter what button I press or knob I turn. Am I missing something?
At the moment I drive a 2013 Ford Focus SE. I got it at the start of June last year (2013), and since then have had no accidents, no tickets, no warnings, no incidents of any kind. I'll be 19 next month, and currently attend a University and maintain a 3.7 GPA, and I live in Michigan.
Currently I'm insured with State Farm for a $500 deductible, and I pay about $304 a month for car insurance. Now I understand I drive a new car and that generally ramps the cost up, but how in hell do some people my age have the same coverage as I do, yet only pay $100 a month for cars that are just as new and a lot more expensive? (i.e, camaro, mustang, etc). By the way I do believe I have coverage for rental car and tow service.
I know state farm is a reputable company that won't necessarily screw me like some other companies might, but are they overcharging me for this? I'm a full time college student and my net income at the moment is just barely enough to cover this, gas, and the 200 a month the actual car costs. (It's a lease for 3 years)
The car lasted a couple of days the last time I jumped it. I believe It's just my battery but how would I know it has anything to do with my accelerator as well?
My 2013 ford focus (titanium) is having bluetooth issues. Every time I try to connect my phone, it quickly "connects" to every phone registered on the list. It doesn't even try to connect to mine. Is this an easy fix or will I have to take it in? Sorry for not giving a lot of info, I'm not very car savvy.
I'm wondering if anyone will recommend, a 2000 ford focuse with 161,000 mileage as my first car, I recently got my drivers permit I want a car to practice my driving skills and I stubbled into the 2000 ford focus.
The rear doors won't open from inside or outside. How do i take of the door panels to look inside if I can't get the back doors to open? Has any one had this problem with there ford focus before?
I have a 2005 ford focus and It doesn't have an aux plugin to hook the auxiliary chord up to play music from my phone. I wanted to see if anyone know another possible way for me to play my music without the auxiliary chord plugin? I hate the radio.
