2001 ford focus rear doors?

The rear doors won't open from inside or outside. How do i take of the door panels to look inside if I can't get the back doors to open? Has any one had this problem with there ford focus before?

You might not be able to get the panels off with the door closed. Can you manually work the locks up and down a few times, make sure the doors are not locked.
Get a rubber mallet or old tennis shoe, firmly hit the panel by the lock, just to see if something loosens up.
It is possible the doors are just stuck. Take a rubber mallet and outside the car rap at the door seam around the entire door. Then from the inside open the handle and firmly push on the door, put some force on it. Maybe have one person hold the handle and the other person use both hands to push against the door. Don't break the door panel, try to push against the top of the frame.
If none of this works then go to a small body shop ask what they charge to look at this.
Maybe there are mechanical failures, but in both doors, seems unlikely. They may be able to uses a slim jim or maybe if you have power locks they are not working, fuse or relay is out? Or lock switch on door not working.

This isn't going to be easy to open the door, as the locking mechanism has a security cover over the door catch., you may need to price of the inner door handle "plastic "to reach the cable.
