Ford Taurus 2004 driver side rear door replacement: are all model doors interchangeable?
I need to get a door from the auto salvage yard and first need to find out if it matters if I get the door off of a SE or SEL or SES etc.
Yes, they will fit. Any Taurus from 1996-2007 will use the same doors. The nose and tail on the 196-99 models will look very different, but the doors are the same
The mechanical fit will be the same. Power options like power windows and locks may be different.

- Why do I have to slam the door to unlock the other doors? Mine is a 2000 ford focus, has no remote key thingy. When I unlock the driver's door the rest of the doors won't unlock unless I slam the driver's door hard, sometimes I have to do it a couple of times. This happens especially in damp / humid or cold weather. Help? :| I don't wanna keep slamming the door to my poor ford focus.
