What is a ford flex?
I'm 6'3", the only cars that fit me comfortably are the Ford Edge, Ford Flex and Mazda 5 Touring wagon. I need something within my budget though. Max of $3 grand. I can't even fit in some pickups comfortably, the brake pedal is either too close to me or there's simply not enough legroom. Sometimes in the smaller cars, such as a Toyota Echo, the steering wheel isn't telescopic so I could bring it closer to me; so I won't have to literally lift my foot off the floor just to press the brake pedal or hit my legs against the steering wheel. I wondered about a steering wheel column spacer… Getting sick of getting cars that I don't fit in the long run, it's harsh on my hips, knees and ankles.
Have Fords become more reliable? Or was it a big myth that they broke down a lot in the past?
I'm looking at a 2011 Ford Fusion with the 4cyl or V6 with ecoboost but I was wondering if it would be as reliable as a Accord/Camry of the same year.
Added (1). oops! I think I made a mistake with the ecoboost but the v6 is still being considered
Added (2). "V6, Flex Fuel, 3.0 Liter"
