Should I sell my current hybrid that needs repairs and get a non hybrid or fix my car up?

My hybrid looks like it could need anywhere between 1500 and $4,000 in work. It has 170,000 miles on it 2008 Toyota.

Half of me wants to invest the money and see if it can go to 300,000, as it is a nice car with leather and a moonroof, and I can't find anything like that for 4,000… Plus it is paid off.

The other half of me wants to trade it in because I would have a hard time selling it if it needs repairs… I could probably get 2000 for it, put that 4000 toward a used car, and then Finance another 5000…

I already see a 2015 Ford Fiesta with only 10000 miles on it for $10,000.

A 2015 Kia Optima for $10,000 with only 60,000 miles.

And a 2008 Lexus 250 for the same price but it has 116,000 miles such a nice car but I think I would be foolish to get this one even though it's super nice…

My biggest fear is that I will repair the hybrid and then have other issues come up down the road although it is a very sound vehicle.

What should I do! What would you do?

Should I trade in my hybrid and get a regular car?

I bought a used hybrid with the hundred and thirty thousand miles on it 2008 Toyota Camry.

I just paid it off after about two and a half years and the check hybrid light with a CVS or something like that system light came on.

I feel like I've about had it with this car and it has about a hundred and seventy thousand miles on it now.

I'm not sure what I would get for the trade-in but before the issues came up the dealer said 4000 a couple months ago…

I have no idea what the issues are it could be as simple as something as a sensor or more.

However I'm looking at a 2015 Ford Fiesta with only 10000 miles on it covered under Ford 7 year warranty for only $10,000.

There's a really nice Lexus too, a 2008 250, real nice, but it has 116,000 miles on it.

I really like the Lexus because I want something I can enjoy since I drive a lot however I have to be reasonable here what would you do?

2006 Ford Focus fuel pump driver location?

My focus will not start, has no fuel pressure and fuel pump not working at all. Have replaced the fuel pump with a tested one and still not working. Have also tested the old one and it is also ok. The fuel gauge works ok, but fuel pump is not kicking in at all. All fuses are ok and have changed our relay also. Does anyone know where the fuel pump driver module is located please?

Rear-ended someone need

I was about 15 feet back but traveling at 30-35mph and having only front brakes (ford focus) was not enough to bring me to a complete stop therefore causing the rear end. The damage on their vehicle was nothing but a few scratches of paint found on the lower part of her Ford Edge 2015, a part which is universal for all Ford Edge of that year. That is the back story, now to the main problem. I crashed in my parents car, and I was found to be excluded on the insurance policy, so that would mean that the insurance would file a letter to whom i had crashed with stating that they will not cover any damage. The person whom I had crashed into is now sending me her estimate through text, she is looking to get $1500 out of it. That is an amount that I feel is not worth the damage I had actually did to her vehicle, so i had offered her to settle at $1000. She has not responded. P.s. The insurance companies never took down a statement from me about the accident, there was no pictures taken besides one of my license plate from the other driver, it was night time and my car is black so even if there was a picture taken the image would be hard to depict. Do I do the right thing and pay her the full total, or do I take another approach fix my own car with that money and get myself a lawyer, would I have a chance of winning or am I set for failure?

2005 Ford Five Hundred locked out of car

My battery died on my car so I'm trying to replace it but in the process locked the keys inside of my car. My trunk is open but I can't find a release for the back seats. Since battery is dead the keyless entry doesn't work.

How can I get into my car to get my keys?
