The engine on me ford no longer works. I like the in line six engine it has. I want to rebuilt the engine. What kind of after market parts can i replace on the engine that will give it more power and some horse power as well?

I have a 1991 ford f150 4x4 and i noticed a small oil stain on the concrete and i first thought it was engine oil, turns out its tranny fluid! Looked under i noticed a crack in the front side of the transmission, i'm not sure if thats where it could be from but the transmission shifts good but the only problem is that when i select OD on the shifter it won't move (sometimes) but works perfect when shifted on D. Its hardly leaking just a drop here and there. What could this be?

Does anyone have any good ones in mind? I don't want to go older than 1995. I have been a Ford guy and have been looking at 1997-2000 F150. Also don't want a longbed.
My Aunt has a 1988 Ford F-150 that she is thinking about getting rid of. My Uncle ordered it in 1988, and he passed away a few years later when the truck only had 20k miles on it. Obviously, my Aunt hung on to the truck for sentimental reasons. Now she feels the need to move on. The truck is just shy of 40k miles, and is in immaculate condition. It is the regular cab XLT Lariat trim, with nearly every option. The truck has only minor scrapes and scuffs on the outside (normal wear from spending most of its life in the garage), and the interior looks brand new (minus the new car smell). Excluding the trailer hitch, the truck is rust free. It has no problems that we're aware of.
If she decides to go ahead and sell, what would be a good asking price? We aren't just going to give the truck away, she wants to make a profit since they don't make trucks like these anymore.
Ford has had this truck twice. Replaced a damaged rim then road forced balanced the tires. Shake still there
I picked up this one as a spare vehicle and it has minimum problems. However, one fuel tank 1 the gas needle works fine but when I turn it off and switch to the reserve tank and start it up the needle goes all the way to the right. As soon as I put it back to tank 1 it works again. Any ideas?
Hi i'm looking ay buying a 1997 Ford f150 single cab short bed 5 speed originally it was a 4x4 but they have done a motor swap to a carbed 302 from a mustang. They didn't reinstall the front drive shaft but I believe the transfer case and everything is still there. Can I just buy a front drive shaft and hook or back.up and have 4x4? I think the truck was originally a 4.2 v6 also.
