1996 ford f150 4.9l v6 inline engine rebuilt?

The engine on me ford no longer works. I like the in line six engine it has. I want to rebuilt the engine. What kind of after market parts can i replace on the engine that will give it more power and some horse power as well?

Well, if your engine is worn out, don't just get a rebuilt engine. I would recommend you to get the completely new one. CARiD offers a brand new OEM style engine, which comes equipped with 6 smog holes over each exhaust port. It will perfectly replace your old engine. Moreover, the guys also carry OE replacement remanufactured cylinder head for your Ford. Check all the details at carid.com

If it's an inline engine (which the 300 is) then it's fundamentally not a "V6", it's an "I6" or"L6", though most people use the I6 terminology. You can certainly rebuild then engine, Ford made millions of 300 I6's over the years, parts are plentiful and cheap. If you're looking for increased performance, Clifford Performance is pretty much the go to place for beefing up the 300 I6.

@Jensen, do you work for Carid or something because practically every one of your answers involves you spamming their website.
