Where's the best online site to buy a cheap, rebuilt (or low mileage) engine?
I'm not looking for a hot rod crate engine, I just need a reputable online source to replace my engine that is no longer usable.

Check with your local auto wrecking places. You can pick up decent motors for $400 and avoid the shipping charges.
So we're supposed to guess what engine you need? Not knowing makes it tough for anyone to answer. You need to list the year, make and model along with the engine size.
No sure what "no longer usable" is… Unless there's a rod thru the engine block or similar damage, you can have the current engine rebuilt OR buy a rebuilt engine BUT how are you going to have it replace the current engine?
- Rebuilt Engine suppliers? Is there one that offers Lay-A-Way? We're in need of an engine for our Ford Galaxie. But can't afford a good rebuilt engine right now. Was just wondering if there's a rebuilt engine supplier that has a Lay-A-Way option. Thanks. They would also have to be willing to ship if they are not located in Indiana.
- Is it worth it to put a rebuilt transmission and engine in a car? I saw a used Ford truck online for sale. It only needs a new transmission and engine. Would it be worth putting the money into a 1993 Ford Ranger?
- I'm in need of a rebuilt 390 engine and FE transmission? Who will sale classic car engines and transmissions? I been looking online, but most that sale engines and transmissions don't sale anything after 1990. I have a 1964 Ford Galaxie 500.
