Is it illegal to not have airbags in my truck?

Ok my truck was manufactured without airbags. It was made in 1991-92. I know I can't put airbags in it, but is it illegal. I was told by one of my friends the acted like it was illegal, I also have a windgate on it and the acted like it was dangerous to have it. Also My sister is also arguing with me that my truck is made out of aluminum and not steel. Its a 92 ford f150 can someone debunk that.

Can I swap a ignition switch in a 01 ford f150?

Long story short, I know these keys are programmed, and I have 2 trucks a 01 and a 03 exactly the same beside the year and color. My 01 has 1 key that only starts the truck and does not work for the doors. My 03 was hit by a tree so I'm using some parts off it for my 01, but the 03 has 3 keys that work on the ignition and doors, so I want to swap out the ignition switch and door lock cylinders. Being chipped keys would this require dealer programming or is this something that could be done at home?

What should I get for my first car? - 1

Hello I'm 14 years old and looking for a first car. I'm a car guy and I have loved cars ever since I can remember. My dad owned multiple classic cars so I guess my love of cars came from him. I really like old VW beetles and have been researching them for a while. For my first car I want an older car because I do not like new cars. I like old hatchbacks but I've looked at a lot of cars (old Ford f150, Old VW Bug, Ford Pinto, Plymouth Valiant, Honda CRX, Dodge Omni.) I like cars from the 70s and 80s but would be willing to drive a car from the 60s if it was in good condition. My budget is up to $7000. I need something pretty cheap and reliable but would be willing to work on it. Speed doesn't matter to me I just care about the character the car has. Any recommendations for my first car?

Cleaning weed out of truck?

My dad smokes weed and he recently gave me his old Ford F-150, I drive to school, and I'm worried that there's a piece of weed in there that I missed while I was vacuuming and the school gets its annual drug search, then I get charged for "possession" of weed that was never mine

2003 Ford F150 won't turn over

I have a 2003 ford f150 and looking for ideas to my problem. Long story short truck ran great, wife went to start it and just clicked so I messed with the starter solenoid (as before I bought the truck it was rigged) truck started right up no problems so my wife drove it the rest of the day. The next day she had to go out of town so I took her truck just incase, and again nothing messed with solenoid fired right up, when to work drove great got to work put it in rev to back into my parking spot and motor just quit light radio everything still worked just motor quit, it has never stalled or even acted as if it would always ran great.
Truck wouldnt start messed with solenoid nothing so had it towed home bought a new starter all together put it in and tried to roll over for about 1/2 a second then nothing, engine won't turn over. So I tried a different starter out of my other truck same thing.
My problem is the engine won't roll over, battery is good starter is good, just won't roll over but run perfect before that.

95 F150 didn't start yesterday, but today it did?

My 1995 Ford F150 with the 302 always runs great. But yesterday I got home after playing disc golf. I went inside to take a shower before heading out for the evening. So the truck had been off for about an hour, and it was about 40 degrees outside. I cranked the motor over and it fired a little bit but then stopped. I cranked it again and it wouldn't start. Cranked it for about 20 seconds, wouldn't fire.

This morning I was planning to diagnose the issue, but it started right up like usual.

What the HELL?

How can i get better mpg on my truck?

I got a 78 Ford f150 but it only gets about 8-10 mpg. Is there any way I can improve my mpg? If I could get it some how up to 15 mpg I'd be a little happier. But I don't know if thats possible
