Is 235,000 miles to many for a 1994 Ford Ranger?

I'm looking into buying a small truck and I found one that looks to be in great condition but the only thing that concerns me is the mileage on it. Can anyone tell me what to expect from this vehicle? They are wanting $1,700 for it.

Anyone ever converted a '59 Edsel Ranger 2dr hardtop to a 4 speed?

I have a 1959 Edsel Ranger 2dr hardtop an it currently has the 223 6cyl an 3 speed on the column. I actually plan to keep the 223 an 3 speed if I ever want to make it original again. I want to upgrade to the 361 "Super Express" V8. I realize no Edsel's had 4 speeds only the 2 speed auto or a 3 speed auto or the standard 3 speed. Anyway I would like to go to a 4 speed rather then the 3 speed I know both are 1:1. This is not to boost my mpg just only to make it more fun to drive as i like to shift on the floor an enjoy a added gear. I don't want to mess up the column only remove the shifter an the 3 speed shifting linkage as you may know its to hard an rare to replace plus I want to be able to put it back original if i wanted. What ford 4 speeds would work best just for a daily driver behind a 361? Has anyone else did this setup? I also want to upgrade the brake master cylinder to dual master cylinder an keep the drum brakes all the way around but not sure what dual nonpower brake master cylinder I need. I heard '59 ford fairlanes had a dual master cylinder you could buy so i'm sure it should fit my edsel since its basiclly the same design on the single master cylinder bolt pattern. Also i would like to know if i would need to shorten or lenghten my driveshaft to accept the 4 speed. Any help is much apperciated!

Why does my ford ranger squeak when I hit bumps?

Recently when I have hit bumps with my 2007 Ford ranger it has made a squeaking noise. It does not make it when I hit potholes, just little bumps. I don't hear the noise when I try to push down on the truck. Any ideas on what the noise could be, and how I could fix it?

Oil gauge randomly drops to 0 and back to normal?

2001 ford ranger 90, xxx miles
While driving my oil guage will randomly drop to 0 and my check guage light comes on, it only drops to 0 for maybe a couple of seconds and goes back to normal. When i'm accelerating and my rpms r high you can hear an irregular revving. I'm at a loss as to what this could be, and it does sound concerning as it is messing with my revving

Truck help 1991 Ford Ranger rpm?

So i have a couple problems i need to address. I noticed when driving my truck my rpms seem to be a little off. Its a manual so for example, when i'm in 3rd gear going 35 mph usually my rpms are about 2,100. Lately after it warms up the rpms are dropping 300-400 rpms. So when i'm in 3rd gear instead of 2,100 its like 1,700 or 1,800. If that makes sense. I just had clutch and slave cylinder replaced. I've also noticed kind of a burning smell thought it might be low on clutch fluid checked that and it seemed fine… Any help?

Physics/ Mechanical Engineering Help?!

A Ford Ranger with a mass of 2430 kg is traveling at a velocity of 85 mph down a mountain road. The brakes fail and the driver elects to use a "run away" truck ramp to stop the vehicle. The ramp has an incline of 15.0 degrees. What is the minimum length the ramp must be in order for this strategy to stop the truck? Neglect friction and air resistance.
