1981 Ford 4610 Tractor repair?

My grandparents have an old Ford 4610 tractor that has a slipping PTO clutch. I've read either a worn clutch pack or low hydraulic pressure to the clutch will cause this. I've never worked on a tractor besides normal maintenance like oil changes, belts, water pumps etc so i have no idea if I would have to split the tractor or if it's accessible from the rear? Any input is much appreciated

Old car slowing down randomnly while I'm driving?

I live in Australia. I own a 2000 Ford Laser Hatchback which i bought in 2012 for $4000. I have been driving it for 2 years now, I got in a crash in early 2012 but it has been serviced. But i noticed more recently my car seems to be breaking down slowly or something. For example when i break it tends to make a crunchy sound… It's not smooth and easy. For about a year now I have noticed my car will suddenly slow down while I'm going 100 on the freeway but this generally seems to happen when it's cold weather or hasn't been warmed up properly but it's terrifying cos it'll suddenly go into this mode where it goes slower and slower even if I'm pressing down on the accelerator as much as possible, to the point cars are piled behind me and i have to pull into emergency lane. But sometimes the sudden slowness will only happen for 1 minute and it will jolt and speed back up to my original speed (90/100). This happens when I'm driving into a 60 zone as well, it will suddenly go really slow down to 40 and people will over-take me and i can't control it until it decides to go back to normal.

Why do you think this is happening? Is my car just breaking down or do i need to clean the fuel? What do you think needs fixing? I do plan to sell it sometime, what do you think is an appropriate amount to sell it for?

How to undo bolts on Ford Galaxy 2003 Front & Rear brake caliper to renew disc's and pads?

I need to renew the disc's and pads at the front and rear of Ford Galaxy 2003. I have the correct sockets and a large extension bar, but they will not budge (front or rear). I have tried WD40, thinking of trying a little heat, but its a bit near to the brake hoses. All suggestions gratefully received. I have a full workshop manual on this car issued by Ford which just says that they are tightened to 190Nm. The front bolts are huge 27mm and the rear bolts are 18mm.

You think manual transmissions will ever come back?

My first car was a 5th gen v6 camaro stick now i own a 350z 6 speed. And I love driving stick. One reason being is 7/8ths of the people now a days don't know how and can't drive my car or ask to take it. But that's also a bad thing that know one knows anymore. But all these cars now are automatic or stupid paddle shifters. And even the paddle shifters aren't fun I drove a camaro ss and you can't even consider that "manual" the "shifting" was delayed and the downshifting just felt so weird. Only cars you can get with a MT seem to be cheap fords or something, sports cars, tuners (evo, sti) jeeps. Like even the new lambos most are paddle shifters. Does anyone think they will have a comeback in the future or do you think the days of a MT are dead?
