What brand of vehicle last a little over 200,000 miles?
I'm looking to buy a vehicle and I would like to know what brand of vehicle last over 200,000 miless (nissan, chevy, ford) etc. Also I would like to know how many miles is too high when looking to buy a used vehicle.
Any brand can if it's been well cared for, but it also depends on the type of miles and the driver.
Brands that have the best reputation for this kind of service (and aren't terribly expensive) would include Honda and Toyota, but I guarantee you that there are many Nissans, Fords, and just about every other brand that has had cars last this long too.
Many brands, many models. Subaru, Toyota, and Honda are the most common to see over 200k but many cars do, including my Dad's Bonneville.
Any car can reach 200,000 miles
However, it's mostly Toyota and Honda that can reach that amount with much less effort.
Most brands can if they are taken care of.
The usual suspects are Toyota, Honda & Nissan.
Toyota
Our cars ( and they have been a variety of brands) all last that long and longer. Wouldn't buy one much over 50,000.
- How to destroy my car? Focus mk1 2004 I want it dead, 170,000 miles on it how long can it last? Kill it blow it somehow without me doing any damage to it, I want the car to die how long with the engine? It's a old car and I hate it, 1.6L Ford Focus mk1

- My dealership told me to change my oil at 10,000 miles on my brand new ford fiesta? I have a 2013 ford fiesta and my dealership told me that my car only needs to be changed every 10,000 miles.so before my first oil change, I waited til 10,000 miles. Then I was told that my dealership was wrong and now i've been doing it after every 3,000 miles. But i'm wonderin since I changed it after the first 10,000 miles, could that have messed up my engine somehow? It was brand new when I got it. Only had 25 miles on it
- I own a 2015 Ford Escape with 30,000 miles and runs good. My prior vehicle had over 150,000 miles and I used Gumout Regane high mileage fuel? System cleaner. I still have a bottle of the Gumout and wondering if I used it in the Escape, would the Gumout do any harm to it? I suppose I could wait until I get 75,000 miles on it before using but I'm a 3000-4000 miles a year driver and the Gumout would go bad before using it.
