I've got a problem with my 1987 ford truck's gas gauge?
So I replaced the float in the sending unit, but when it got put back together the gauge reads over full all the time, what could it be?

So a while back my moms car had a transmission problem, sometimes the car wouldn't go into 4th gear, there wansnt much the car matinence center could do besides replacing the whole thing, now my car has began to this same thing, sometimes when I accelerate a litte faster than normal ill come up to a stop light and when I start to pick up speed again my car won't shift(automatic) will stay at 30mph and just kicks up the revs and won't go any faster, i know ford has a 5 year 60,000 mile powertrain warranty, should I be covered?
I took my Ford To a dealership, help?

I took my truck my truck to ford to fix a very loud noise and when I Get it back same its the same? I spent eight hundred and something dollars to get this fixed they said I should replace two of them the front and back so they can have the same life span so I forked out another 400 bucks but now when I go home and has the same noise when I turn now they're trying to sell me a wheel bearing for two hundred buckS, its been 5 days what should I do
What would be top 3 most expensive part to fix in a car. As far as my understnding goes.it wil be
1. Engine
2. Transmission
3. Brake.
(this is for a 10year old ford car )
and rest all easy and cheaper to fix.am referring to expensive here on someting thta would cost me more than 1000 bucks.
I accelerated of from a set of traffic lights today to be greeted with a rattle from the water pump/alternator side of the engine just wondering if anyone could shed some light on this the belt is still there and under tension. It gets worse as you rev the engine

I got a 10year old ford car.mercury sable
have 150k miles in it… Just got a transmission issue…
the local mechanic, who has some great reveiws, says it requires rebuilt and gives 6 months warranty.
and says, if all goes fine, this transmisssion can go for next 150k miles.
he quotes 2300 for this… Is it worth to take the risk.
i can't afford to buy another car now. Even a used one.
When did Ford come out with the 3.5 l eco-boost engine?
I'm wondering why do some major companies use different color schemes on their international websites?
An example of this would be Ford: with the US site (www.Ford.com) versus the international (Russian?) site (www.ford.ru)
I'm currently looking into buying a car within an $8000 budget. I'm really set on a 2006-2008 BMW 325/328/330 and I know a lot more about them and what to expect than I do when it comes to Audi's. I've found plenty of used BMW's that would work for me and I know the reliability of these cars is amazing with meticulous maintenance.
However, I recently came across a used 2006 Audi A4 Quattro 2.0T which I've fallen in love with over my screen. The car has 117,500 miles, clean title, no accidents and has been religiously maintained (so the seller says). I'm wondering what the lifespan of this car is and how much maintenance/money I should expect to put into it. I want the car to last me through the rest of college (3 years). Also does anyone know if this year/model has an aux port?
Also, I live in Phoenix so the AWD isn't really that important to me.
And I know that I can get a newer Honda/Ford/Hyundai/etc within my budget - that's not my question.
