I would like to have my own business when I'm older selling cars at my own dealership. Things like (all used!) minis, fords, nissans.etc.
I don't know ANYTHING about business. Like, when I get employees to sell cars and do paperwork, how do I pay them? Does it automatically go through the bank? Do I have a separately account for my business? Am I able to pay someone to pretty much run the business so I don't even need to do anything? I know nothing about it all, and I'm only 15 and going to college (uk) in a year, so will business studies tell me all of this?
Would a 1983 Ford LTD Crown Victoria coupe be a nice first car? - 1
I purchased a used truck a little over 2 months ago. It had a 30 day 50/50 parts and labor warranty on it. After 5 days I found out it needed the engine to be replaced. I took it back and after 5 weeks I finally got it back. I paid over $2k for my half of a remanufactured motor that is under warranty. While driving it home the transmission light comes on. I make an appointment with ford to have it looked at, but before I can get it to them, the truck just stalls out on me while crossing an intersection. I take it back to the lot again and they have it for a week and said there was a loose ground wire and that's all they could find. While driving home once again it dies on me again a split second before I'm about to pull onto the highway. It started back up and died on me once more while going back to the car lot. It's been 2 weeks now and I haven't heard a word. I was told warranty papers for the motor would be sent to me, and all I received was info from an engine rebuilding company that was printed up straight from their website. Is there any legal action that I can take to get my money back for cost of truck and repairs (that can't be verified)? I live in Va. Any input would be much appreciated.
Added (1). I failed to mention that in over two months period of time, I have had the truck for less than 2 weeks in my possession.
Who's theories influenced Henry Ford to place a sign on a plant gate that read, Leave your brain at the gate?
I'm looking to get a used car. I have even heard about two lesser known Japanese brands, Subaru and Suzuki, but I'm a bit skeptical of Suzuki in particular. I'm honestly not a supporter of Mitsubishi and Mazda.
Added (1). I would not say having AWD/4WD is necessary for me. It is not very snowy where I live. The reason I said that I do not like Mazda was because it used to be partnered with Ford and I do not like American car companies. I'm not so keen on German cars.
It was running fine then it started acting hard to start off and smoking a little so I figured oil. Put some more in and it straightened up for a mile or so then started acting up worse. It began to have a knocking noise like an old diesel tractor. I don't understand what it is because it starts up just fine but won't run for more than a minute before it starts pudding and knocking. Also there are tiny pieces of rust chunks in the radiator and it smells like a wet fire pit.
Which is better Chevy or Ford. Its an odd debate to have school, but now I'm curios to see what every body has to say.
I drive an 04 ford truck. I took it to the car wash the day of, and figured hey I may as well try waxing it. I bought some meguire cleaner wax I think it's called. So I waxed it, and the paint looked and felt really nice after and I was happy. Now today I washed my car at the hand car wash and used the foam brush, high pressure soap, exc. I came home and felt the paint while it was still a little wet… And it feels like All the wax is off! My paint felt smoother 2 weeks ago before I waxed it! Can someone please tell me this is temporary or something because now I think my cars paint is either ruined or not as smooth.
When engaging transmission into gear a whining noise is heard that sounds like a worn-out hydraulic pump. The sound of the whining increases as the RPMs increase when pulling a hill or an A grade the whining will also get louder. The whining noise does not exist in park or neutral only when engaged in forward gears and reverse. The level of transmission fluid is perfect and was changed 23,000 miles ago. The overall mileage is 80,000 and has been well maintained since it was bought new by me.
