Is the ignition key chipped, or what?
I keep one of my beautiful Ford Mustang's in a garage. Anyway, any so and so day when I want to drive it I have to boost it up because the battery I have is pretty much dying and I need to buy a new one as soon as possible. So today I go over to my garage and want to take my car out for a quick spin. I figured the battery was dead so I was ready, but something weird happened. My car key remote refused to even unlock the doors. "Uh oh" I thought. Now I'm in some real deep issues because the remote is usually what I use to unlock the car. I can't unlock the car from my driver's side. It is completely messed up and the passenger's side has no keyhole.
I wondered what I'd do for 20+ minutes. I tried wedging it, didn't work. I tried using a coat hanger; didn't work. I tried sliding in through the trunk side… Didn't work. I tried opening the driver's side with my key and it finally opened. But now I put the key in the ignition, and it refuses to turn. My goodness, now what do I do? Is the key chipped? I can't buy another one right now. I don't have a spare $150 from the ridiculous dearships
