1990 Thunderbird SC vs 94-98/99-04 Mustang?
I'm in the market for a used car, I was looking into with getting a 94-98 model Mustang, or a 99-04 model. While doing so I found a 1990 Ford Thunderbird SC, I know they're only rated at 210 hp but on YouTube I see these cars outrun 93 Camaro SS's and 05-09 Mustangs in the quarter mile. To bottom line it, are they really that powerful stock with just the supercharger?
I'm sure you will have to make some mods to get any real power from it. Monte carlo ss i had was supercharged and the cts with smaller non supercharged outruns it
A stock T-Bird SC won't out run a 1993 Camaro SS, mainly because there was no 1993 SS model but also because the T-bird is heaiver, less powerful, and geared taller.
A stock T-Bird SC will do 0-60 in 6.9-7.4 seconds (depending on transmission) and will do the 1/4 mile in the low 15 second ranger. It's comparable in performance to the 96-98 Mustang GT. But the 99-04 Mustang GT will beat it easily as will the 05-09 Mustang GT.
It's a good deal, get the 1990 Thunderbird instead.

- What do y'all think of a ford ranger pickup 1990? I'm interested in a 1990 ford ranger pickup truck. It is a four cylinder and 5 speed truck. Do any of you have any good experience with these trucks?
- I just bought a 1990 Ford Ranger and it is doing something weird? As stated in the title I bought a 1990 Ford Ranger today and it had recently gotten some parts replaced including: Fly Wheel, Starter, tires and some others. But the problem is, when I'm stop and accelerate the whole truck shakes and jiggles and I'm not exactly sure what it is? Any comments help. It's a Ford Ranger 1990 Automatic 4wd. Also, I'm not sure if this is normal on these old of cars but when on the freeway going about 65 that's red lining it.
