I'm deciding between the ford fusion, Toyota Camry and Honda accord (all 2014). This might sound lame, but which car is 'cooler.' They're all similar in price and efficient for what I'm looking for. I don't really know much about cars so I'm afraid ill buy a grandma-like car.
I have a 2007 V6 Ford Fusion with automatic transmission. Last summer I noticed that I get a lot of groaning / creaking sounds from my front end when I drive, but only when it is hot out. When it's 75 or less, I hear nothing. When it's above 75ish, I start hearing it and it gets noticeably louder the hotter it gets.
Well, when the weather cooled, the problem went away so I ignored it, But yesterday it got up to 98° and it was very loud indeed. It only happens when the car is in motion. It's definitely coming from the front end.
Any ideas? Any TSBs out for a problem like this?
I'm having issues changing from CD to CD. Can someone explain to me how to move around. I know how to take them out and put them in. I just don't know how to change from CD 1 to CD 5.
I can't get my car to start. I thought it was the battery but I went to auto zone and grabbed a new one but still NOTHING. I'm not even getting the clicking noise that I think indicates the the starter is getting power (when I turn the key). My battery is now brand NEW.
The only light that has been on and off recently is the airbag light. Sometimes the light would come on and stay on sometimes it would just go right off. I notcied on the days it stayed on, it seemed like the car wasn't getiing a lot of power when i would start it. Could it be the starter? Don't think it's the alternator but I'm an Electrician not a Mechanic. Thank you so much(in advance) for all the answers and hope 1 of them helps. Have a good week.
When I rent cars (most recently, a Toyota Prius and a Ford Fusion), I'm frustrated because I'll lock the doors, both from the inside and from the key fob, but when I check to make sure that they're locked, they will unlock when I touch the handle.
What causes this? Do they unlock if the key fob is within a certain range?
When I lock the doors, I want them to stay locked!
If I pull the central locking fuse out the alarm stops so it's drivable but was wondering what could be doing it as I was thought to believe if I put the key into the ignition the alarm should stop but it don't any ideas would be most appreciated

I bought my 2012 Ford Fusion brand new.
It was perfect until it hit 20,000 miles.
Then the whole thing started falling apart bit by bit.
my battery was the first to go. Only holding a charge for about an hour. I understand that batteries do need to be replaced every once and a while so i didn't think much of it.
at 23,000 my Rack and Pinion went out while i was driving, causing me to lose control of the vehicle while i was on a busy road. I couldnt even turn the wheel enough to pull over. I needed to stop in the middle of the road to restart the car.
at around 24.500, the transmission started hitting extremely high RPMs (4000 @ 30 mph)
I had the power train reset and no problems with it since. However around the same time my Heater bearing started going out causing a terrible "Chirping" Noise once turned on.
at 26.000 miles the dash and head lights started dimming randomly. I know that alternators could cause this, but you can hear them dim. Like a switch in the vehicle is flipped and it all becomes the dimmest setting about 15 minutes later the "switch" is flipped and they're back to normal.
27,000 miles (i'm currently at 28,000) i got a letter telling me that my throttle body is likely to give out soon and they're changing the warranty from 30,000 to 150,00 miles.
What the F**k is this?!

Added (1). Right now i'm at 28.089 miles and the A/C compressor overheats

What i press the brakes it makes a "tick"
When i let off the brake it makes a "tock" when in sequence it sounds just like a clock. Lol
