I have a 2013 Ford Fusion with about 58,000 miles on it. I commute to work everyday, and my job requires me to travel, so I've really put the miles on. The original loan amount was $25k, and I have about $14k left on it.
I was considering buying a different car and trading in my Fusion. Would that be a stupid idea? Should I just pay the car off?
My car (2006 Ford Fusion) drives down the road straight however i notice a light side to side swaying that the entire car does. The steering wheel doesn't move and neither does the wheels. Just enough to be noticeable but doesn't effect driveability.
What i've done recently:
New shocks and struts
Alignment
All new front ball joints and tie rods
New tires all balanced
My suspicion is i need new sway bar links (they are the original links and the car is 9 years old). That would explain the "body roll". What's everyone else think? Any help is welcome!
I'm looking into getting H&R lowering springs for my 2007 Ford fusion 2.3 liter. I wanted to chose this specific set because they will lower the car 1.6 inches in the front and 1.9 inches in the rear. The way the car naturally sits from factory the front of these cars (atleast this generation 2006-2009) sit lower than the front and higher in the back, so I would believe 1.6 up front and 1.9 in rear would level it out. The car has 85, xxx miles with original shocks on car from factory, never changed. They are very firm and no bounce going down the road or over speed bumps, so I was wondering if I would need to replace them when I get the springs or not? Any info is appreciated! Thank you
Ok so here s the dilemma- in 2012 I got a DUI. I was 22. I finished all the necessary procedures- I paid my fines. I finished the 9 month class. When I received my license back I put an RS22 on my insurance no problem. Then got the DUI expunged after finishing my probation without getting in trouble. Then and now In 2015 I've moved to Texas. When I sold my car in California I canceled my insurance and was only in California with no car or no insurance for two days. Then I moved to Texas and bought a new car a 2015 Ford Fusion and put full coverage on it. But Texas laws are hat dui s only need an RS22 two years after the DUI. It's been 4 years plus j have it expunged even tho I know it doesn't matter through the DMV. Now the DMV in Texas tells me that I'm not eligible for a Texas drivers license. Any idea why? Do I still need an RS22 and why? I've completed everything and even got it expunged. And I need a Texas drivers license.
I have been having an issue with the A.C. On my 2010 Ford Fusion. Sometimes when I get in my car and start it up, the A.C. Blower will not go on. After trying a bunch of things like turning the motor off and on again and messing with the A.C. Controls, the only thing that fixes the issue is time. I will be driving for about 10 min and all of a sudden the air will blast on as if I just turned it on. Once it goes on, it will stay on for the duration of the drive. This issue started out only happens about 1/4 of the time, but now it happens every time I get in the car. I thought it was the resistor, but I replaced that and it did not fix the issue. Any ideas?
I know the mototcraft pads are organic, part #br1164-b. The ford genuine part number # br1164. Just curious if the 1164 is ceramic.
I have a 2012 Ford Fusion Sport AWD with this ''Select-shift transmission'' thing. I know how it works, but what are the configurations of it? How many gears can I go into, and or start off from?
I'm 18 and I'm thinking about getting a car soon
