How to turn off the securiLock?

I got my Ford Fusion 2007 only key wet. I tried to dry it out and now the buttons work fine but the car is stuck in lock mode and fuel can't go to the engine. Is there away I can manually turn off the auto lock so I could start my car with the key. Can't afford 300 for a new set of keys and now I'm out of a car How to turn off the securiLock

2009 Ford Fusion SE or 2005 Cadillac CTS?

About to buy my first car, and kinda split between the two. Both are priced at $10,995. The Caddy has 66,000 miles and is a V6 whereas the Fusion has 51,000 miles and is a V4. One thing I like about the Fusion is that it has the blue cloth interior… But the Caddy is a V6 lol. I've read that Cadillac's start to have a lot of problems at about 80-90k miles and I'm looking for a car to last me a while. In addition to the cons of the Caddy I wouldn't really want to send it to a GMC dealer ever time there was an issue. Just wanted to get some opinions thanks.

Should I trade my car in or keep and pay down?

I was looking at a new car- the Chevy Trax- the other day.

I have a 2013 Ford Fusion with 60k miles on it and $14k left to pay on the car loan. I took it to have the vehicle assessed, and it is only worth $11.8k. However, I drive a lot for work, and the car is depreciating faster than ever.

The Trax would be financed at $27k, and the payment would be lower each month, but I don't really want $27k of extra debt over my head, especially when I've already paid over $13k on my Fusion loan. I feel like I'd be starting all over again!

Can someone give me some advice as to what to do?

Should I get a new car or keep the one I have?

A little background:

I have a 2013 Ford Fusion w/ almost 60k miles. I commute 45 minutes to work everyday, and my job requires me to drive, as well, so I've racked up some miles in 2 years.

I pay $450 each month on a car loan and have about $14k left to pay on it. The car is worth $11.5-12.1k.

By the end of the year, I'm sure I will have 80k miles on it.

I'm thinking of getting a 2015 Chevy Trax. The payment will be lower each month, too. Should I trade the Fusion in and get the Trax or finish paying off the Fusion and keep it?

New serpentine belt squeals?

My dad replaced the serpentine belt on my car (07 Ford Fusion SEL) last weekend when I was home. I noticed my car makes grinding noises when I reverse it and a squealing/peeping noise when I turn now. Should I take it in and have a mechanic look at it? My car has never made that noise before, so it has to be from the new belt.

Is there a universal push bar that can mount to almost any car?

I currently own an 07 Ford Fusion and I know I can order the pb400 for it because it's compatable, but I have friends who plan on getting their own car soon and I know some of their car choices won't be police enforcement related but they want push bars on them. Chances are they might get bmw, Evo lancer, or even a mustang. Is anything possible that a body shop can do to make it possible to put a push bar mounted on. We're going on a road trip from Boston to LA, and we plan on looking like a road trip team. Answers and opinions are gladly appreciated Is there a universal push bar that can mount to almost any car

Is it worth paying more for an Acura than a Honda?

Just curious? For example, is it worth spending about $7,000 more for a TLX than an Accord? My mom was just curious because she's considering buying either car. She was also considering the Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ and she wonders, are there more differences between the Accord and TLX or between the Fusion and MKZ? She was also surprised how the MKZ actually costs more than the TLX, as she told me Japanese cars usually cost more than American ones, or they used to.

My transmission fluid is dark colored and smells burnt?

2010 Ford Fusion Sport

The fluid smells burnt and is dark colored. The transmission still shift normally. I'm thinking that the fluid has been in there since dealer. I have found other parts in the vehicle like the air filter that was from dealer.

Added (1). The transmission filter is not serviceable.
